Ah, that's a classic, Brendan.  ;)

Quick question for the mods - I originally read Matt's rules as saying that all quotes have to be Eastwood quotes, but I've spotted a few that were other characters in his films. Anyone care to clarify?

I included this in the rules:

You should mention the film it's from and who's saying it (it doesn't have to be an Eastwood character).

So, it doesn't have to be Eastwood's character.

Sorry, Eustressor... Philo withdrew his because you withdrew yours.

Pick it up with my Tuco quote above.

Matt beat you, Brendan!  :P

I saw Matt's. What I was doing, was using the word 'horse' from Matt's.

But it's ok. The game has appeared to have moved on anyway without any problems, so no worries.  ;)

I'm confused. (It happens a lot.) If two people both post a quote ... but one is clearly ahead of the other (as with Matt and Brendan a few posts back) ... shouldn't it be the first one that "counts"?

What do y'all think of that?  It's happened a few time in the past half hour.  Should using the same common word again in the next quote be acceptable, or not?  ???

So, what your saying is, you can't use the same word that the person before you used?

Sounds fair.

Well I had that line ready to "shoot" before Matt's so I just posted as it fitted the bill again.
