Can anyone tell me about Clint's most famous UK fans? Especially unlikely ones (politicians, young pop singers, clergymen).

Thanks

Adam Ant has always been an Eastwood fan, he was a honorary member of the UK fan club, as was Barry Norman, there is a well known TV comedian, don't see him much now, I remember him on TV once, possibly Ch4, where he was involved in a film quiz, he was specialising on Clint, just can't think of the name at the moment, anyone help?
Tony something? Possibly?

Me! Oh, you mean famous people. Isn't Christopher Frayling a fan? He wrote a book on Clint and a biography of Sergio Leone. He was talking about Clint briefly in the BBc Radio 4 interview yesterday.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Too busy hitching around the world with kitchen appliances. I think.

Although didn't he appear on the Clint Vs John Wayne 'debate' shown on Channel four a few years back. I think he argued for Clint against Gerald Kaufmans' John Wayne.

Sketchy memory, but there you go. It may have been Gordon Kennedy thinking about it.

I would hope that we can do slightly better than Tony Hawks !!! as Britains biggest Clint Fan though.
