Here's a rivival of an old game from the old board.

I give you a cryptic clue to a word connected with Eastwood.  Like a crossword clue.

If you get the right answer you set the next one.  Only thing is the answer to yours has to start with the last letter of mine!

Always put the number of letters in the answer.

EG:  

Q - What Tuco was but couldn't read (5)

A - Idiot

Soooo!  The next answer starts with T.  Geddit.

Here goes - real clue.  Answer starts with T:

Remember it starts with T has an Eastwood connection (an easy one too!).  You get it you post a new one that starts with the last letter.

This game makes me feel stupid.  Why does the answer begin with a T?  I'm so tried.  Or maybe I'm drunk.  Have I been drinking?  Whose toe is that?  Oh, it's mine.  Good night.

The answer starts with T because the last aswer ended with T.  The answers all link together.  And that gives you a clue to the word - you have the cryptic, number of letters and first letter...

What could be easier?

The tough part is thinking of a clue.

Sounds like it should be True crime, but only four letters, I guess I would say just "true."  Is that close?

Isn't anybody else going to join in?  Daisy's right, the hardest part is coming up with the riddle.  Maybe read The Hobbit and the scene with Gollum to get yourself in the mood.

  Whoops!  You are of course right, Red.  Orang-utan is the most common spelling, but oran-utan is an acceptable, if less known, alternative.

However, I think your letter count should read (8, 10) not (8-10)?
