Ally, you are looking for a one stepper, right? Wanna give us a hint? This has been around for a LONG time now!  :o

Actually, I have a shocking confession to make...  :o

This is the first time I've selected somebody without checking out the connection first, (other people do it, but I never normally do!) but I figured that as she's been in a Hitchcock film, we can usually make the connection from there. Put it down to my own laziness! Of course, this would have to be the one time that nobody can get it and needs a clue!  ::)

In that case, if it really is too hard, I'll try and find a one-stepper myself and give you all a clue, and if I can't, then two-steppers will do!

Thanks, Ally ... glad it wasn't just me. Two-steppers are easy but if you find there's a one-stepper ... let us know and drop a hint!

I have a few one-steppers, but they're to actors who were in Clint's early films, which we don't usually count in these games. Maybe we should make an exception in this case, since no one has come up with a "legitimate" one stepper in all this time.

Madeleine Carroll was in An Innocent Affair (1948) with Bess Flowers, who was in The First Traveling Saleslady (she's uncredited in both films). Better, Carroll was in My Favorite Blonde (1942) with Charles Cane, who was in Revenge of the Creature, Erville Alderson, who was in Francis in the Navy, and Edgar Dearing, who was in Tarantula. All three actors are credited in My Favorite Blonde, though only Cane is credited (as Police Captain) in the relevant Eastwood film ... which in that case is more than you can say for Clint!  :o

I wonder if that would satisfy Ally?  ???

This one is MUCH easier ... the recently departed, unforgettable Fay Wray.

(And no, King Kong was never in a movie with Clyde ... ;) )

Sorry.. I meant Carolyn Jones.

(Got the actress and her character confused.   Carolyn Jones, played Morticia Addams on The Addams Family.)

I'm glad you clarified that, because there are five Carolyn Joneses in the IMDb.

THIS Carolyn Jones (1929-1983), to take the most obvious connection (to me, anyway) was in How the West Was Won (1962) with Eli (Tuco) Wallach and Lee J. Cobb of Coogan's Bluff fame.  8)

How about Woody Allen? Don't think we've had him yet. This is an easy one stepper! ;)

I got Woody Allen in Radio Days (1987) with Jeff Daniels (Blood Work).

NEXT: Evan Rachel Wood (or have I used her before?)

OK, ok, Evan Rachel Wood, whoever she is, was in The Missing (2003) with Tommy Lee (Space Cowboys) Jones.

How about Diane Keaton?

OK, ok, Evan Rachel Wood, whoever she is...

She's a young, very talented actress that's who she is.  ;)

Anyways, Diane Keaton was in The Godfather and The Godfather Part II with Robert (Joe Kidd) Duvall.

NEXT: Greg Kinnear

Greg was in As Good As It Get's with Jack Nicholson, who was in Terms Of Endearment with Jeff Daniels, who was in Blood Work.

There's a one stepper out there tempest.  ;)
