Ellen Barkin played Calamity Jane in Walter Hill's Wild Bill (1995), opposite Jeff Bridges (Thunderbolt and Lightfoot) as Wild Bill hisself. Also in the cast was Bruce Dern (Hang 'em High).

That's great, Hemlock! Actually, I was hoping someone would find a connection via an actor other than Agar. We've got a semi-serious rule around here not to use those pre-stardom films of Clint's. But anyway ... Steve Martin was in the wonderfully titled Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid (1982) with Reni "Chico" Santoni of Dirty Harry fame.

KC, for some bonus peanuts I'll give you another connection for the voluptuous Ms. Russell. :)

The not-so-plain-Jane was in Foxfire with Mara Corday who was in Tarantula that same year (1955) with a barely recognizable Clint.  (I know... I'm getting to the post-Dollars films now ;) ) as well as the following:

The Gauntlet
Sudden Impact (In her most memorable performance in an Eastwood film as the diner waitress who pours the sugar)
Pink Cadillac
The Rookie

I'd like to post a picture of Ms. Corday, who was every bit as beautiful as Jane back in her day, but... I don't think the picture would make it through the censors. Wow!  :o  :-* Pour some sugar on me....  :D

Forget the peanuts, KC.  A glass of ice water might be better.  :-[

Good work, Matt! I was looking for the Mara Corday connection.  :D

Why don't you post the next one?  ;)

Thanks, KC, I needed that.  I think I've recovered enough to post the next. A forum search for this actress came up empty, so here's hoping I'm not repeating her:

Bette Davis

Guess you don't need any ice water for her, huh? One of Ms. Davis's final roles was in The Whales of August (1987) and also in that one was Tisha Sterling (Coogan's Bluff) ... playing, oddly, a character called "Young Tisha."

How about a frequent Davis co-star (Jezebel and Dark Victory, to mention two) ... George Brent? Looking for a one-stepper, so no fair going via Bette. ;)

As attractive as Bette was as a young woman, after seeing What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? .... no ice water, or even tap water, will ever be necessary.  :o

Good work, KC, with the Tisha Sterling connection. :D

This probably isn't the one you're looking for, but here goes anyway:

George Brent was in Illegal Entry with James Nolan, who is the unfortunate liquor store owner who is beaten and robbed by Scorpio in Dirty Harry.

That works just fine, Matt ...

Do you have some sort of master list of all Clint's co-stars? You seem to come up with these really fast lately!  :o :D  ;)

Nope, but I've seen the cast lists often enough to know a lot of them.... and other times, a name just looks more familiar than the others, and sure enough.... they turn out to be in one of the films.

Okay, here's the next... the beautiful Claire Forlani

What about the great Rossy de Palma?

Almodóvar favorite Rossy De Palma was in Mike Figgis's The Loss of Sexual Innocence (1999) with Bernard Hill (True Crime). I was hoping I'd be able to link her via one of Clint's Spanish or Italian co-stars from the Leone films, but that's the best I can do ...

How about a Fassbinder favorite ... Irm Hermann?

She's in the 1978 Woyzeck directed by Werner Herzog.  It stars Herzog regular Klaus Kinski - ol' hunchback from AFOD.
