John Phillip Law played Baron Manfred von Richthofen in Roger Corman's The Red Baron (1971). Also along for the ride was Don Stroud (Coogan's Bluff, Joe Kidd).

It's nice to hear from you again, Daisy!  :D

How about this one....

Jim Hutton was in Major Dundee with Richard Harris, who was in Unforgiven.

(I first ran along Never Too Late where Jim Hutton was in the cast with Pamelyn Ferdin (Amy in The Beguiled) but since she was listed as "uncredited" I didn't figure that was a very strong connection. I do like using those actors that aren't among the more commonly connected in this game.)

Next...

Burgess Meredith

Burgess Meredith was in Clay Pigeon (1972) with Telly Savalas (Kelly's Heroes)

New one: Paul Douglas, saw him today in Clash by Night (1952)

Ignorant armies, Xichado?  ;)

Paul Douglas was in the baseball flick It Happens Every Spring with two future Hang 'Em High cast members: Ed Begley and Alan Hale Jr.

Anyone ever see It Happens Every Spring? Right about now I'd take anything having to do with baseball ...  :-\

For a new one, how about Leslie Nielsen? Just saw him play the President of the United States in Silly Movie 3, I mean Scary Movie 3. ;)

Leslie Nielson was the ill-fated skipper of the U.S.S. Poseidon in The Poseidon Adventure, starring Gene Hackman, Unforgiven's Little Bill Daggett.

This is at least the second connection I can remember finding through The Poseidon Adventure. Gotta love those all-star cast 70's disaster flicks :D

Jean Reno was in the Michelangelo Antonioni-Wim Wenders collaboration Al di là delle nuvole (Beyond the Clouds, 1995) with John (In the Line of Fire) Malkovich.

I found a two-stepper. Is there a one-step solution you know about, KC?

Robert Donat was in Perfect Strangers with Glynis Johns, who appeared in that great Christmas movie, The Ref with Judy Davis, who was in Absolute Power.

Completely OT, but I watch The Ref every Christmas :o :)

Can anyone beat two?

There is at least one one-stepper ... can anyone find it?  ???

Donat didn't make that many films, so it shouldn't be too hard. ;)

Oops, turned the page, didn't we ... The actor in question is Robert Donat!

That one's not up to your usual standards, Xichado (not the woman  :-* , but the degree of difficulty). Without even looking in the IMDb I know La Cardinale starred in Once Upon a Time in the West, and accordingly she shared the screen with quite a few Leone "regulars." Also, I seem to recall she was in Fitzcarraldo (by Werner Herzog) with good ol' FAFDM hunchback Klaus Kinski ...

And sure enough, a glance at the cast list for Once Upon the Time in the West yields these characters who were in OUATITW and also in one or more of the three Leone films that starred Clint: Frank Braña, Antonio Molino Rojo, Al Mulock, Aldo Sambrell, Benito Stefanelli. The Kinski connection via Fitzcarraldo also proves true to my memory of it ... ;)
