Angie Dickinson was in Point Blank with Lee Marvin (Paint Your Wagon), Carroll O'Connor (Kelly's Heroes) and John Vernon (Dirty Harry, The Outlaw Josey Wales). The Lee Marvin connection I thought of right away from when I watched this movie, but I hadn't remembered there were a few others as well.

Ah Gant?...

New one: the great, and unfortunately late  :'( (d. Dec. 27, 2003) Alan Bates ... Sir Alan, as he was styled since last year.

Yes that is an unfortunate loss.

Mr. Bates was in The Sum of All Fears with Morgan Freeman, who was in Unforgiven.

I'll be back.... with another one before the nights out.  ;)

Sorry. But do you have another one?

I was going from Alan to Unforgivens Saul Rubinek in 2003's Hollywood North.

Right.... The Jack Daniels is open... See ya next year. ;D

The dashing Spaniard was in Bille August's The House of the Spirits (1993) with Meryl Streep (The Bridges of Madison County). He also played ... ahem ... "Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan Ibn Al Abbas Ibn Rashid Ibn Hamad" in something called The Thirteenth Warrior (1999) alongside Diane Venora (Ev's wife in True Crime; Bird's wife in Bird) and ... never thought I'd encounter him again ... Mina Erian Mina, who was billed as "Mina E. Mina" when he played the small part of "Muddy Chandler," the stagecoach driver, in Unforgiven.

Gant, Gant ...  :o

Next ELISHA COOK JR ???

Famed character actor Cook was in Don Siegel's Baby Face Nelson (1957) with Thayer David ... the creepy "Dragon" in The Eiger Sanction.

BTW, in the long cast list of Love Actually, besides Neeson, I also noted Laura Linney (Kate in Absolute Power; Dave's wife in Mystic River).

How about Jessie Royce Landis, who played a couple of memorable "mothers" for Hitchcock, including the role of Cary Grant's mother in North by Northwest (she happened to have been born the same year as Grant, but that's Hollywood).
