Colin Firth, ahhhhhhhhh ... just saw him playing Vermeer in the excellent Girl With a Pearl Earring.

Firth wath in the abominable The Englith Patient, I mean The English Patient ... with Liisa Repo-Martell from Unforgiven.

BTW, the film had poor Liisa's credit wrong (and the IMDb has perpetuated the error). She played Silky, not Faith.  :o

For those of you who didn't tune in last night ... mgk temporarily changed her av to someone who looks just like her, namely Supergirl. They say dogs look like their owners, but I don't think Angel, though she is cute as a button, looks much like mgk ...  :o ;)

Oops, I didn't get a chance to put in an answer on Peter Stormare ... aside from his many and varied movie roles, he was one of the finest Hamlets I've ever seen, in Ingmar Bergman's production for Stockholm's Royal Dramatic Theater, which I saw both in Stockholm and when it was on tour at the Brooklyn Academy of Music a few years back. Great actor.
