Got it! Joanna Lumley was in Shirley Valentine with Bernard Hill, who starred as warden Luther Plunkitt in True Crime :)

I can't think of any Clint film where he uses a bottle of Fairy Liquid :-\.  Or is there a scene where he washes dishes in The Bridges of Madison County :P.

Naw sweetie, there's a film in which Nanette Newman stars, with someone else who's been in a Clint film. Think hard, now! You made me laugh, though  ;D

I haven't looked for your one yet Vik, but I was gonna say, I didn't realise there were so many links for Nanette Newman! I was actually thinking of this connection - Nanette was in Stepford Wives with William Prince who starred in Bronco Billy ;)

Anyway, I digress, so, back to Bette Midler.

Dammit Gant, you beat me to it!

Was gonna say...Bette Midler was in The First Wives Club with Eileen Heckart, who of course, starred as Little Mary with Ciint in Heartbreak Ridge. But you got it first, so, go ahead, the floor's yours! ;)

I knew you'd find another link! The one I was thinking of, was of course, more complicated, as usual!  ::)

Take it away, toots!
