It wasn't the one I had in mind, Gant, but it'll do just as well ... who would have thought Toshirô and Clint were connected by at least two actors who appeared in films with 'em!

Can I get this one?

Lauren was in Dogville (cool film!) with Patricia Clarkson who was in The Dead Pool.

How about Piper Laurie, wonderful star of, amongst other things, that wonderful series, Twin Peaks?

Actually, at the beginning of this thread, Holden says that in the previous incarnation of this game, films where Clint directs but doesn't act were allowed:

Quote
for purposes of this game in earlier incarnations on this board, we had been including Clint's credits as director but not actor (Bird, Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil, Breezy and the upcoming Mystic River).

So are they not in this version?

Anyway...just saying ;)

Actually, that's not the one I was thinking of, either. It was Spielberg's 1941 (1979), and when I look closer at the cast, I note that it featured no fewer than three Eastwoodites, but pretty minor ones ... namely Dub Taylor (Thunderbolt and Lightfoot), Michael McKean (True Crime) and Jerry Hardin (Honkytonk Man). So, I guess Gant's and yours are better, since they're better-known costars of Clint's ...  8)

Right, got this one, though I probably don't have as much patience to find multiple links, as you do, Gant!

Elsa was in Willard (1971) with Sondra Locke, who of course, starred in the Every Which Way films, amongst others.
