Ooops, Christopher posted while I was composing that ... regardless of whether he, or I, or neither of us has Ally's link, he beat me to the punch and is entitled to post the next one!  :)

Hayden played "Johnny Clay" in The Killing. I guess he just looked like a "Johhny"! ;)

Hi guys!

Christopher, I know you know I love The Killing, but I actually made my link via The Asphalt Jungle (1950), which is also one of my favourites. John McIntire was also in that film, as well as being Grandpa in Honkytonk Man!

Anyway, Christina Ricci was in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (a crazy, hilarious film!) and so was Michael Jeter (sadly now passed away), who also appeared in True Crime as Dale Porterhouse.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Ally, if you've never seen Johnny Guitar, you should check it out ... it's hysterical!

Could your link be via Cronenberg's Scanners (1981)? Patrick McGoohan (Escape from Alcatraz) was in that one.

What about ballet dancer and sometime actor Alexander Godunov ... died much too young of "acute alcohol syndrome," according to the IMDb ...  :'(

Hey KC, I've got Alexander in Die Hard, with Robert Davi, who appeared in City Heat as Nino.

How about a much-discussed and loved actor on the board, Sly Stallone?

I bet there's so many ways to do this one...my way is via a mid-1990s film ;) But any which way is cool...

Oh, and KC, I will be sure to check out Johnny Guitar sometime :D

It took me a little longer than it should have to find a connection, considering I've seen the movie I'm using to connect him with. ::)

Sylvester Stallone starred in Lock Up with Donald Sutherland from Kelly's Heroes and Space Cowboys.

Ally, were you thinking of The Specialist co-starring James Woods (True Crime)?

Nah, I was using the brilliant Judge Dredd...going via Mitch Ryan who also appeared in High Plains Drifter...I always make these links more complicated and then someone comes along and finds a much easier one!  ::)  ;)

I found that Peter Boyle appeared in a film called Hammett (1982), with Jack Nance, (who was fantastic in Eraserhead and the Twin Peaks series). Nance also starred in City Heat.

Next, I choose the German actress and singer Nico, who also sang with one of my favourite bands, The Velvet Underground.

Nico is a snap, as she appeared (uncredited) in the notorious The Sandpiper with Richard (Where Eagles Dare) Burton.

She was also in something called Les hautes solitudes with Jean (Paint Your Wagon) Seberg. This item may have the funniest summary yet on the IMDb ...

Quote
Biographical film about Jean Seberg, losely based on Nitschz's [sic] Anti-Christ

Yeah KC, I made the latter connection!

The IMDb doesn't always get it right, does it?! ;)

Have you got another one?

Gant, where are ya, I thought you might've already got this one!

In the absence of any takers, I'll go with this link:

Claudette starred in Texas Lady (1955) with Gregory Walcott, who appeared in no less than four Clint films: Joe Kidd, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, The Eiger Sanction and Every Which Way But Loose. No wonder his name was so familiar...

Ok, Alan Ladd, star of Shane, one of my favourite westerns.
