Ex-Dead End Kid and Bowery Boy Leo Gorcey was one of many, many people listed in the cast of It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (Stanley Kramer, 1963). Among the others was Charles McGraw (Sheriff Ray Calhoun in Hang 'Em High).

That the one you were thinking of, tgy?

David Bowie was in Mr. Rice's Secret with Frank Turner who was in Unforgiven.

Since he's in the news today, how about Elton John.

Ms. Scott Thomas was in The English Patient with the unfortunate Liisa Repo-Martell. I say "unfortunate" because her credit line was messed up in Unforgiven. She played Silky, one of the whores ... but she was wrongly credited as Faith.

I know it's a bit obvious but it is one of the first movies I saw at the cinema. Shelly was very brave in The Poseidon Adventure along with Unforgiven's Gene Hackman.

She was also in the noir ish thriller I Died A Thousand Times along with Paint Your Wagons Lee Marvin.

I'll never forget that shot of Shelly at the bottom of the lake behind the wheel of a car in The Night Of The Hunter.. Very, very eerie...

Ok.. new one, Mr Magoo himself
