Oh my God!!How could I forget that  :o

Famed director Truffaut did an acting-only turn in Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind, which also featured Roberts Blossom, who was Doc in Escape from Alcatraz.

Rainer Werner Fassbinder starred in the 1976 film, Schatten Der Engel (Shadow Of Angels) with Klaus Lowitsch who was General Vladimirov in Firefox (1982).
