I know what you're thinking...

I am seeking a higher quality source of the
dialog "I know what you're thinking" (Part 2)
than the clip that can be found at:
http://www.clinteastwood.net/audio2.html

Specifically:
http://www.clinteastwood.net/realmediafiles/soundclips/dirty_harry/thinking.ram

I am not sure if the quality of the sample
cited above was diminished due to a poor
sampling rate or if it was taken from a
source other than the original soundtrack.

In any case...

Does anyone know of, or have access to,
a higher quality source?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, ErrolHolt, if you have questions about the sound clips or other materials on this site, other than what's posted on the Web Board, you should contact Cal, the Webmaster: cal@clinteastwood.org

I would tend to assume that the reason for the relatively low quality of the files is partly to keep the file size down, and partly because it is copyrighted material.

If you want a high-quality version of this clip, why not buy or rent the film yourself and make your own? You would be doing those who love Clint Eastwood's films a favor, because the more videos he sells or rents ... the more he'll make!  :D

Or you could settle for the "in-studio" version - the opening lines Clint speaks at the beginning of the Lalo Schifrin "Diry Harry Anthology" CD. It's a little polished for me, but at least it's in stereo.    ;)
