Yup, exactly the same as earlier when we had the 100+ online. Almost all of them were from that same IP# range. There's something strange going on with that.

That's quite a rollercoaster of guest numbers!

But I wonder if there really are that many guests sometimes. I noticed this post:

In that instance, isn't it likely that it's recording the same person looking at pages of the thread, and their IP number is changing slightly? I don't know how all of that works, but I do remember some people on here talking about how that works. Might have been Matt, actually.

The IP addresses are usually slightly different. Right now there's 6 IP addresses that are slightly different by a few numbers. I thought we figured it was one of those "spiders" that goes around cataloging information for things like Yahoo and Google search? Either way it is most likely some sort of automated bot searching the site.
