Eyuh.  Howdy all.  Well, I finally saw Breezy on AMC a couple of months ago and was pleasantly surprised.  I was sure I'd fall asleep inside of 15 minutes, but that didn't happen.  Not a great movie, but I enjoyed this better than Bird & Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil.  Has anybody else seen this "lost" Eastwood flick?  I know it's due out on dvd soon.

I saw it a couple times on late-nite TV during the mid-70s as a kid. I don't remember much about it at all (except it featured an aged Bill Holden), and I had no idea at the time Eastwood was related to it in anyway. I always thought Kay Lenz was an attractive young actress.....I wonder what happened to her? Sort of faded away with the rest of the celebrities from that era....

Kay Lenz has made dozens of appearances, including "Falling From Grace" w/John Mellencamp.  I just remembered I could swear you can see Clint during a walk-by scene in Breezy.  I'm not positive, but Kyle may have even been in it, too.

Eastwood does make an appearance in Breezy and, if I remember correctly, it's outside and he's walking across a small bridge-type structure.  ???

I think I'm close.....anyone remember for sure?

Just out of curiosity, is he wearing his trademark Ray-Bans?

In the future, it would be neat if someone posted a captured shot of that scene on here.

I'll have to take another look at that scene for the sunglasses.  In the meantime, if anybody can verify whether Kyle was in this movie, I'd appreciate it (it's the scene where Holden takes Lenz shopping).

I'm sure I remember Lenz being in the tv series Rich Man Poor Man. Good lookin' gal. I hope Breezy gets a UK release..

Wasn't Sondra Locke up for the Breezy part ?

I just discovered that Kay Lenz was nominated for a "New Star Of The Year" Golden Globe award for her potrayal of Breezy. (That's Alice Edith Breezerman)

Kyle was a wee tyke at the time Breezy was made ... he'd have been about five. However, some of us are convinced he appeared in Thunderbolt and Lightfoot the next year (as the boy to whom Thunderbolt gives an ice-cream cone), so it's possible.

As for Kay Lenz ...

KC: Thanks, I'll keep that in mind the next time I watch T&L.

Agent: I don't have the capability to post that scene w/Clint from Breezy here & have since recorded over it, so will have to wait 'til the dvd comes out to see if those are the sunglasses you referred to.
Breezy & Coogan's Bluff will be released on dvd in the U.S. on June 1st (per Amazon.com)

Gant: sorry, I looked on the UK Amazon.com and it doesn't look like either will be relased there (I hope I'm wrong!).

Ok, I just watched my Breezy dvd and Clint wasn't wearing sunglasses.  He's leaning over the bannister on the boardwalk where Holden & Lenz walk by.  He's wearing a white windbreaker and blue pants (jeans?).  He's one of the first people you see in the scene and he's looking to his left, then switches to his right so his face isn't too obvious.

Funny, Breezy is looking at a poster for High Plains Drifter while Frank (she calls him "Frankie") is buying the tickets.

Hey, thanks Zach!  ;D  Funny, there was a time when I almost gave up on Clint, after Pink Cadillac, White Hunter, Black Heart and The Rookie!

I hope you like Breezy-happy viewing!  :)

I watched Breezy last night. I thought it was pretty good. I remember here recently when we were talking about Lost in Translation in the off topic forum, someone said it reminded them a little of Bridges of Madison County. Breezy reminded me a little of Lost, and I can also see now why Eastwood would have been interested in a movie like Bridges as well.

BTW, I missed Eastwood's cameo in the movie, so he must have not wanted to give himself too much attention in the film.
