 O0

First time i've seen these  :o

"Raw footage of the filming of the movie Tightrope with the WWL-TV news crew. The film company had called the newsroom requesting a live news truck and crew to be used in a scene for the movie. Angela Hill is the reporter, Dennis Giurintano is the TV cameraman, Tim Goodgeon is the assistant and Ted Saari is the engineer in the truck."

Thanks, that's fascinating.

I've always liked the way, in that scene, Eastwood doesn't sound like an actor reading his lines, but like a cop trying to make a spontaneous statement on camera.

How did I miss this one?!  :D

Thanks for posting, Red  O0

See, that's something that belongs in the extras section of the Tightrope DVD. If only there was such a thing  ;D

KC, I agree with you. This particular scene doesn't feel like acting at all. Everything, from Eastwood's tone of voice to his attitude participate in conveying Block's unease and general insecurity about the case. It makes it all the more obvious that Block isn't one of those cops who is chasing the spotlight. He is not exactly at ease in front of this horde of reporters.

I missed this too. Wonderful footage.

Even though Clint is not directing, it is still another very relaxed set.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
