I loved this movie! The story, the plot, the action, everything!  The only thing that needed alittle work was the gun sound effects other then that it was really good. To be honest i thought it was better then its predecessor (a fistfull) because it had a better script and plus it was cool having lee Van Cleef play his part. He always manages to be good in his  movies. What do you people think?

GBU's my favorite, but FAFDM is my second favorite. I love the music the most in ALL the Dollars movies.

Agreed, this is a fantastic  movie, my favorite next to TGTBTU.  Although not my fav, I think FAFDM has the best gunfights, plus Clint shows off some of his hand-to-hand combat skills in a saloon. awesome.

well FAFDM does have a more complex script, and it does dig a bit deeper into the characters and who they are. It also gave Clint to try his chemistry with supporting main characters. (which worked out really well, and I think is why it worked even better in TGTBTU)

Granted FAFDM is a good film. But I must say that I prefer AFFOD due to the fact it is based on the classic film Yojimbo, starring the late great Toshiro Mifune. I feel it's a lucky thing for us all that Clint is also a big fan of Yojimbo. It's because of Yojimbo that the legend we know and love began in ernest. From Samurai to Gunslinger, swords to bullets, two great reflections. Well, that's my opinion for what it's worth.

point well taken. But I assume that's why the stories' feelings change in the second film. So I guess it comes down to whatever the preference of the viewer is. Or maybe that's what everything comes down to in movies? lol

I like FAFDM, but I can only watch it every once in a while, and it's hard for me to sit through completely.  I like Fistful the best, I can watch it any time and still feel great about doing so.  I like the score to the movie alot, all of the dollars movies have good scores, but I think Fistful is the best, even more so then GBU.

I have to agree with you on the first part of your reply. The movie does semm pretty lengthy compared to AFFOD. Alot of the movie seems drawn out, especially durring the last hour. But the second part of your reply, About the scores, I have to dissagree. My opinion is that FAFDM had the best overall score. TGTBTU had the most memorable. ^_^

Yeah GBU is used alot more, every commerical I watch now it seems like its the theme or at least something very close to it.  Talk about overused.

It's one of those pieces of music that everyone would associate with the Western.
Ask them to whistle a theme tune from a Western, and more then likely it'll be GBU.

I know and that's fine, it's just being way over used, there are plenty of other good western themes.  But I guess if it makes an impact that's good.

lol, yeah that is true. EVERYONE knows the GBU theme. But ey' that's becuase it was so different, and good.
