I love the score for Dirty Harry. It is dark and it matches the mood of the film.

I agree. I don't own the music however. That's something I have to change very soon!

Sorry to have to post some bad news, but I can confirm that the release of Sudden Impact will probably not happen now at least until the new year.

Shoot. I was really looking forward to it. Although the film is far from being my favorite of the series, I love Roberta Flack's song at the end.

Thanks for the update, mary mary  :)

Time for an update.  We all know Sudden Impact is now available and I just noticed The Dead Pool will be released January, 2009.

No photo posted yet but here's the lowdown on The Dead Pool:  The Dead Pool soundtrack

Here's a photo of the Sudden Impact soundtrack:

I'm surprised This Side Of Forever and Welcome To The Jungle weren't included on Sudden Impact and The Dead Pool but hey, I'm just glad to have the set.  I wasn't even going to bother until I heard The Dead Pool was coming out.

I was more surprised when I heard This Side of Forever wasn't included with Sudden Impact.
I bet they didn't even bother to put in Welcome to the Jungle this time.

However, they are both film scores not soundtracks.

But, I don't care.  My long search is finally coming to an end.
I'm literally counting the days...

I received The Enforcer and Sudden Impact yesterday (ordered on Amazon)  O0
Haven't had a chance to listen to them yet, but I can't wait. Especially The Enforcer. I love Jerry Fielding's work on The Gauntlet.

The Dead Pool soundtrack dropped through my door this morning.  Listening to it now.  Not as good as the rest, however, it is still cool to have all 5 soundtracks ^-^

All we need now is Coogans Bluff, and Joe Kidd.  ;) I don`t think The Beguiled would make an ideal soundtrack CD, however, I would still buy it!!!
