??? I'd like to solve it Philo, I just don't know it.   But, I ran through the list of films and came up with two in which that quote might be found.  I'll try this one first...

Honkytonk Man, said by Hoss to Red, regarding Arnspringer.

Okay Philo... the other one I thought of is in Firefox, and it would be said by some of the Russian men regarding Gant.

I knew after posting that last guess that it had to be in one of "your" movies.

It's not really fair of me to keep aimlessly guessing, although I think I might know it now.  If anyone can get it, step up to the plate, if not... I promise to look it up this weekend.

Found it!  (Finally  :-\ )

Sorry about the wait, Philo.  It's from Every Which Way But Loose, right after Frank and Elmo have the run in with Philo (with Orville and Lynn) at the diner.  Back at Black Widow Headquarters...

Quote

CHOLLO:  The very first thing we do is find out WHO we're talking about.  I mean... we don't even know where to find him.

ELMO:  How are we gonna find him?

CHOLLO:  Well it appears to me that there can't be too many guys driving around this valley with an ape!

 ;D

Trivia's been dead lately... is there anyone out there?  Where's Stranger been?  I realized last night he hasn't been around for a month now.  :(

I thought my Eastwood quote would be answered pretty quickly too... but it's still there, waiting for a month for someone to come along and solve it... anyone?

Long forgotten Eastwood Quote trivia game

I'll be back tonight with a new non-Eastwood quote.   :)

Okay, this one is a little easier, I think.  Hopefully we'll get some responses.

It's not a Dirty Harry movie ... it's one of the movies you should have studied for our biweekly film discussions. ;)

Well I didn't study ..... but Its the lady who has the rare luck to have every line she utters being funny and spot on for the scene .

It is Birdie , Dave Garver's cleaning lady commenting on the state of the place and to why Dave is alone . The film Play Misty for me .
