I buy too many DVDs sometimes (if only money grew on trees ;)), so I usually have to stop and think what the last one was. But the last I got was Kelly's Heroes. Still a few Eastwood movies to fill in.

Most recent purchases: Heat: Two Disc Special Edition, Insomnia: Criterion Edition, Thief: Director's Edition

I've put myself on a DVD buying freeze until the end of April. Unless I see a Clint movie that I don't already own.

Last week I bought White Hunter Black Heart and Mystic River 2-disc edition + I got In The Line of Fire Collector's Edition for my birthday  O0

But the very last one I purchased was For a Few Dollars More Collector's Edition (region 2 DVD) ... I couldn't wait for the region 1 to be released  ^-^
I ordered it this morning on Amazon (released tomorrow Feb. 28th )

I buy too many DVDs sometimes (if only money grew on trees ;)), so I usually have to stop and think what the last one was.
;D ;D  Same here  ;) ... and yeah I still have a few Eastwood movies to fill in too.

The last DVD was "Married...With Children" season 3.  The last few DVD movies I bought were over the Net, "White Heat" with James Cagney and "Full Body Massage" with Mimi Rogers and lucky bastard Bryan Brown.

Howard Hawks' Red River.  Decided to get a bit of a western collection going, besides my Clint westerns.

Today I was in Borders bookshop and saw so many lovely dvds... :-\  not allowed any until I've earned them.  But I've got my eye on the set of the series Alistair Cooke's America8)

That DVD buying freeze sounds like a good idea.

I thought about getting Heat. I still have it on VHS, which I got a very long time ago but I haven't watched it recently and I'd rather watch it again before I decide to get it on DVD. I've seen Thief before too. Good movie.

Just lately I have only been buying Clint movies and the last DVD I got a couple of weeks ago was Joe Kidd. I have never seen it so now is my chance.   The one before that was Two Mules for Sister Sarah.  I am trying to get as many DVD 's of Clint as possible but so many are only on region1 or not available at all. :(

Last week i bought :

1. Life of brian

2. the meaning of life
(with these two, my must-have list for monty python movies is now complete  ;D )

3. Crimson rivers 2
(not as good as the first, but i did find out Christopher Lee speaks french wery good.)

The last DVDs i bought was bought today and were :

1. Sky captain an the world of tomorrow
(only bad thing about this one is that gwynneth paltrow isnt stomped to death by the giant robots in the beginning...)

2. Dodgeball
I´d never thought that i´d have to say this, but David Hasselhoff is actually quite funny...  ;) )

3. Nikita
(decided it was finally time to retire my old VHS tape)

4. Crying freeman
(Same goes for this one)

5. Glory
(still an incredible movie after all these years)

6. Kongekabale (danish movie about a young new reporter who gets a tip about a political scandal planted by a primeministercandidate´s enemies in the days up to the election. It´s avaiable with english subtitles, so do check it out, especially since a political scandal in denmark in just about the same manner is rolling currently (no deaths or suicides involved though)

And i got (NOT BOUGHT!!!i cannot stress this enough) Resident evil 2 : apocalypse...
Me and two maters opted for a zombiemovie night, so we saw Dawn of the dead (original) Shaun of the dead and Resident evil 2. Jørgen, one of my mates had just bought it, and after we saw it, he didnt want it back home with him for some mysterious reason  :D (read Brendans rating of it if you cant understand why  ;)) so now i´m stuck with it, though using it to put hot mugs on, or scraping the cage of my ferrets with it has crossed my mind...
