I haven't seen The Book of Boba Fett, but I can tell for a fact that Cad Bane's character, which was featured in other Star Wars-related media, was influenced by Lee Van Cleef's performances as Col. Mortimer and Angel Eyes.

Here's one source I was able to find: https://web.archive.org/web/20110902133958/http://starwars.com/databank/character/cadbane/index.html

Just finished only murders in the building season 1 . Not bad, I enjoyed the three leads. Lightweight fun but I think I will
wait a while before watching season 2

Season  3 ep one of The Boys. This show is so out there.. lot of fun and first episode was bang on 😁

Severance was fantastic show of the year so far for me

I'm just waiting for the last few Better Call Saul episodes. It's TV at its finest for me now.

I've been watching Stranger Things 4 and really enjoy that so far (I currently have three episodes left, and they're all pretty long episodes). I think this season is the creepiest the show has been.

I've never seen The Boys but I've heard it's good.

I finished season 4 of Stranger Things and I really liked it a lot. Season 5 will be the last season (unless they decide to do some spinoffs or other specials in the future, of course), and I'm already looking forward to it. This has been one of my favorite recent shows. While I have Netflix, I'd kind of like to rewatch seasons 2 and 3 (I own the first on Blu-ray).

Star Trek: Lower Decks is back for its third season on Paramount+. This is a really fun series created by a Trekkie. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned the show before in this thread. It's an animated comedy and the main characters are from the lower decks of the ship.

And in the 2022 movie discussion thread I mentioned Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe as being one of my favorites from this year so far, and there's a new series streaming on Paramount+ (it's starting to sound like I'm an ad for them) and I'm really digging this show too--simply called Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head. I think I'm a full on Beavis and Butt-Head fan now. :o ;D :D

I just finished watching 1883 recently. I think it's really well done, and anyone who likes westerns would probably enjoy it. It's a prequel to "Yellowstone," which I also watch and like, but I think this prequel 1883 is the better show. It has a poignancy that "Yellowstone" doesn't have, I love the voice overs, the casting is flawless, and I think it may turn one of the actresses, Isabel May, into a star! She was really good. It's a limited series, so there will only be one season of this particular story, which I'm actually sad about. Has anyone else watched this, and what did you think?
