I picked up Devil in a Blue Dress today. I just saw it a few weeks ago and was wanting to watch it again because I have to write a paper about the book and film adaptation. No video rental places apparently have it, so I just bought it. I liked the movie, so that's cool! O0 I don't think I would have bought it if I hadn't liked it, of course. ;)

Just ordered the first two seasons of 24 from ezydvd.

I've got a feeling I may get an email from them tomorrow telling me that they have either sold out of this or the price shown was incorrect.

What do you think?

A 13 disc box set for only $24.95.   :o :o :o :o :o

 24 season 1 and 2
It says "OUT OF STOCK".
Shipping is $25, but the box set in itself is listed at $133  ??? Are you sure you paid $25 for 13 DVDs, Kid?

Yeah, that page has changed since yesterday.

I got the automated invoice straight away and it definitely said $24.83.

But I didn't get an email that I was expecting today saying that it had been shipped.Hopefully tomorrow.

EDIT: I just checked the website and my order is still pending as they are out of stock, and the price is $24.83,or I should say was when I placed my order.  O0

If you consider bad TV a treat....  :-X

Anyways bought these today:

Casino Royale
Rocky II
Rocky III
Rocky IV
Rocky V
Rocky Balboa

It was actually cheaper to buy Rocky II - V separately rather then in the box set. Plus the edition of Rocky in the box set isn't the special edition that I already owned.

Last week, I bought

  • The People vs Larry Flynt
  • Sunset Blvd.
  • Salò or the 120 days of Sodom
  • Anatomy of Hell

A friend mentioned "Anatomy of Hell" to me a few months ago, I thought the plot peculiar and I decided to check it out. I wasn't prepared to see it the first time around... yet I was completely drawn into it. I have seen it a few time, I don't like the beginning that much but it's a very interesting and strange movie.

I picked up these two today:

- The French Connection (single edition)
- American Psycho (Killer Collector's Edition)

I have never seen the first one, but I've read Bret Easton Ellis's book -on which the second one is based.

 ;D

I think I've only seen The French Connection once, and of course I've seen the other two a few times and enjoy those.

I do like how they've started packaging some movies together by two or threes.

Yeah I got Jarhead and Apocalypse Now like that a couple of months back, although I have noticed a lot of the double packs have one film I've already got. :(

Two of the best double packs I've seen: Collateral/Minority Report and Kill Bill Vol. 1/Kill Bill Vol. 2.
