"La Horde" a French zombie movie. Many do not like the French cinema. But I love zombie movies. Also a very good action scenes in the film are also available. Definitely not a masterpiece but it can be monitored.

 My note 6 / 10

My favourite series .... from the beginning !
Brenda Leigh Johnson ... the way she talks, the way she plays "comedy" sometimes ... and the other policemen in the squad (Provenza, my fav !) , Pope the chief ... and Fritz, her FBI lover ... I like everything in this series, very funny sometimes, tragic often  !!! ;)

Death Hunt is a cool movie. O0 Is The Stone Killer known as any other titles? That doesn't sound familiar.

It would seem not ...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070736/

Ebert had this to say about it:

Quote
Michael Winner's "The Stone Killer" is a superior example of its type - tough cop against the mob - and probably the best violent big-city police movie since "Dirty Harry." It's not much more, nor does it mean to be; it offers stylish escapism at breakneck speed, and it gives us a chase and a gun battle that surpass themselves. That's what people go to movies like this for, and Winner (after betraying the shreds of artistic ambition in such earlier works as "The Jokers") directs it with great zeal.

That sounds good. And a quick Amazon search says that it may not even be available on region 1 DVD!

Michael Winner made few good and even great film during the 70`s.I wonder what happened to him...or better yet to his skills as a director ?Last film I saw that was directed by him had Chris Rea as a lead character  ::) I do like Chris Rea`s music but the film was not that great and I was amazed to realize that it was directed by the same guy that have made Death Wish  and Lawman.

By the way wasn`t Eastwood offered the lead role in Death Wish??
