I just bought the Halloween 4K three disc set. I don't have a 4K player or a 4K TV for that matter (my parents have a 4K TV but no player). Eventually I'm sure I'll have the full 4K set-up, but for now I really wanted the two blu-rays that are in the case. The third disc has both the extended cut of the movie as well as the actual TV edited version, and I love that all of that is included. In case anyone doesn't know, when the movie was first going to be shown on TV, they needed the movie to be a little longer to fill two hours of television, and they were also going to have to edit some of the movie for content. So new scenes were shot for the TV version. So the extended cut is the TV footage cut into the R-rated movie, and then of course the TV edit is what was actually shown on TV when it premiered in the early '80s. The first time I saw Halloween was the TV cut with the additional footage, and I haven't seen that footage is many years since I've had the movie on DVD. Last year the first five Halloween movies were released to 4K from Scream Factory, and at the very least, I'd like to have the second movie as well. It's my favorite of any of the Michael Myers sequels (and as I posted several months ago, I have Halloween III on Blu-ray now anyhow, though that 4K release does look good).
