Yes, Trilogy of Terror is a cool movie. I wish the main TV networks would do stuff like the movie of the week again.

I joined Disney Movie Club a few weeks back. It's like a throwback to those deals where you can sign up and get a few movies cheap, and then you agree to purchase a few more at regular cost. When you average everything out, it'll be a good deal. Plus this is the only way I could find Honey, I Shrunk the Kids on Blu-ray for a decent price. So this was my opening haul:

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
The Hardy Boys: The Mystery of the Applegate Treasure--this was a serial done for the Mickey Mouse Club in 1956.
Daredevil Vs. Spider-Man
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
Coco
The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under

This Ghostbusters three movie set is available for a pretty good price, so I decided to pick it up. I've had the first two movies on DVD for a long time, and I still haven't seen Ghostbusters: Afterlife yet, so it'll be fun to go through these sometime here.

I just bought the Halloween 4K three disc set. I don't have a 4K player or a 4K TV for that matter (my parents have a 4K TV but no player). Eventually I'm sure I'll have the full 4K set-up, but for now I really wanted the two blu-rays that are in the case.

The third disc has both the extended cut of the movie as well as the actual TV edited version, and I love that all of that is included. In case anyone doesn't know, when the movie was first going to be shown on TV, they needed the movie to be a little longer to fill two hours of television, and they were also going to have to edit some of the movie for content. So new scenes were shot for the TV version. So the extended cut is the TV footage cut into the R-rated movie, and then of course the TV edit is what was actually shown on TV when it premiered in the early '80s.

The first time I saw Halloween was the TV cut with the additional footage, and I haven't seen that footage is many years since I've had the movie on DVD.

Last year the first five Halloween movies were released to 4K from Scream Factory, and at the very least, I'd like to have the second movie as well. It's my favorite of any of the Michael Myers sequels (and as I posted several months ago, I have Halloween III on Blu-ray now anyhow, though that 4K release does look good).

The Batman is currently on sale on sites like gruv and Amazon, so I decided to go ahead and get that. And then I ordered the original four American Pie movies while I was at it. ;D
