I'm still gonna see Episode III on the 23rd.

The 23rd of Never.

Actually it is sooner than that Holden Pike it is the 12th of Never. :D    Or are you too young to appreciate that?

I saw it last night at 12:01.  It was amazing.  So good, great script, good acting, great special effects, music was awesome.  I loved it.  It was so good!  I'll probably see at least 4 more times haha.   :D

I'm afraid I was dissapointed  .The action scenes were too big and uninvolving  .
The whole film had a cold feeling to it which was only saved during the last 20 mins which were worth the ticket price alone  .Up until then it left me cold .

I thought the action sequences were great, the plot was good and mostly well paced, chemistry between the characters was finally there, and the acting was solid outside of Hayden C.  And as a huge plus, the lame attempts at humor (like previous two) were gone and there was no "pleasing the kiddies" crapola.

What Lucas still has problems with is terrible dialogue (especially between Hayden C. and Portman) and Hayden's better than the last, but still not very good, acting.  Take away those two glaring flaws and I would have loved it.  Also, sometimes there is an odd sense of timing for scene transitions (abrupt maybe), but I've gotten used to that and don't consider it a huge knock.

  Good flick overall.

I saw ROTS, and liked it.  The action sequences and fights are good and there weren't cheesy humor attempts or blatant pandering to young kids.  I thought the turn to the dark side was done well.  The limited Anakin/Padme dialogue was tolerable if done poorly, but all in all this was as good as you could expect it to be.

"revenge" is the best one lucas have directed (yes, i find it an inch better tha episode 4), and even though i´m not ready to forgive lucas for episode 1 yet, it certainly has put a smile on my face  :). I would have liked more wookies, but that´s just about all the bad i can say about it. Sure, the dialouge is hokey sometimes but then again, it has always been that way in star wars. Also once again lucas shows that he is actually better at hinting at things than showing them up in your face. In the original "empire" it was the ice monster that you didnt actually see,
spoiler begins
In"revenge" it is the slaying of the younglings (even though that might have upped the PG rating considerably)
The way the scene was shot (zooming in on anakins hand with the lightsaber being turned on) reminds me of a certain nameless gunslinger...  ;)
spoiler ends

All in all i´m happy with the movie, and even though it got some plotholes in connection with the "next" three movies i recommend it.

Star Wars Episode 1   The Phantom Menace is on UK  TV tonight at 5.20PM ITV.   I will be watching it.  I have managed to borrow Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones.  After I have seen that I plan to go and see Episode III on the big screen.  I am sure there are a lot more Star Wars DVD's out there that I should be watching.  I guess I have started my initiation a bit late but.......  8)

I have the feeling Lin hasnt seen them, but just think about THAT! Lins still got the best parts left, and we can now actually hear how the entire trilogy hangs together from the beginning  from one who hasnt seen the star wars saga in its entire installment, and now sees it in complete chronological order!!! I am looking  forwards toi hear what you (Lin) think of it all.  O0

OK  Well I started to watch no 2 and the DVD jumped all over the place so I have to get it for myself.     I loved the first one and found I could follow all the People/robots/aliens etc. in it.  Of course I had heard of a number of them and now they are 'real' to me.   I want to watch the first one again and then I will take it from there.  I had not seen anything before so for me there will only be the three movies.   I think I will get confused if I start looking at all the other parts you all talk about.    I think I need it running in order.    Thanks everyone who put me on to something that I thought I would hate.  Quite the opposite.  O0

Hi ! Lin !
You're exactly like my husband who had never seen a "Star Wars" previously !
He's discovering them in order too, and yesterday evening, he said to me "that's not so bad !" :D
This story is magical, each time I see one fo the 5, I feel better ! Enjoy them as much as I do ! ;)

Loved the movie so much but hated this part:

Anakin: "You are so beautiful."
Padme: "That is because I am SO in love."
Anakin: "No, it's because I'M so in love."

Wow, was that really necessary?
