I don't know if this has been talked about yet.

I have seen the trailer, and this looks like it might be one of the best one of of the six. Of course it is going to have the most plot out of the six, also it has "the duel". I can't wait to see that.  ;D

What is ya'll opinions? Predictions?

I aint a big Star Wars fan but the original first movie was the best in my opinion.

Harrison ford as Han Solo seemed to be the only character to add the human element to the film and was the least wooden.

It looks great, but I somehoe think that it wont be. After seeing how Lucas butchered the other prequels, I don't see this one being an orginal beater.

Lucas better not screw this up. I have been waiting for this particular episode for as long as I can remember. If he does....I shall rain death from above.

I'm going into it with absolutley zero expectations... so as long as there's flickering images it can't possibly suck.

Oh my God.  Best of the six you say....

My ability to believe that has been shattered by everything he  has made since about 1983 :(.

If you want to know why Lucas couldn't make a good home movie, I can post a link which will explain a lot.

Yes, what a let down Liam Neeson was.  Pity about Ford's career lately too.

Ewan Mcgregor aint so hot either, with his Faux Paux sir Alec Guiness accent and demeanor.

Still apparently Sir Alec hated the Obi One role anyway.

I do think Ewan is talented, trainspotting was great but is he a Sci Fi Action hero type guy. Personally i would say no.

I also have to agree with Wkc, what a shame Mr Ford is'nt performing as he should nowadays, this was after all the man who was "Indianna Jones"

Sigh it all seems so long ago.

Samuel L Jackson is worse. He's good in Pulp Fiction and those sorts of roles, but he really can't act for toffee in the Star Wars films. I hear he gets bumped off in the latest one though, so that's at least one good thing about Revenge Of The Sith ;D

I'm a fan of the original trilogy and the first two films in particular (I know they're called Episodes IV and V but they're the first two to me) and don't think the latest offerings measure up at all, but I'm feeling reasonably positive about this one as the trailer looks pretty cool. Anyway, even if Lucas does screw it up, there won't be any more. Oh, except the tv series he's been talking about. Excuse me while I weep into a bucket at the thought  :'( :-X

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Maybe I should watch Episode II.

I didn't mind Episode I. I thought it was a decent movie. That's been a few years back, I think I was still in high school when I saw it.

Within in the last few months, I rewatched the original movies from the DVD releases. All three are really great. It'd been so long since I'd seen them, it was almost like watching them for the first time (except for the fact I still remembered certain scenes). Maybe I'll revisit Episode I and check out Episode II soon so I'll finally be up to date with the series.

Ah yes as a whiff of nostalgia comes across me....the original two star wars movies, that are horribly called episodes IV and V (as alleycat pointed out) were the best by far. I know we can all be tainted by childhood memories as things never seem the same but even after watching them recently my opinion remains the same.

They just dont make them like they used to, the original "Star Wars" (1977) had no CGI in at all, a wookie was a man dressed as a wookie and all the characters in that Mos Eisley bar (i think) were either puppets or actors.

Its probably me being old fashioned and some CGI is good but i always feel that it takes something out of a film.

If Lucas managed toi astound all us kids in 1977 without CGI then surely he could do it again...???

He had help from a lot of people in '77 and '80 who aren't with him anymore.

I watched Episodes I and II this week. They're pretty decent. I wouldn't put them on the same level with the originals, but I can see why Lucas wanted to make these movies. It's interesting to see how Darth Vader became Darth Vader.

And I didn't have a problem with any of the actors' performances in it. Not even Liam Neeson or Samuel L. Jackson. ;) They all seemed to do whatever was called for. I thought Christopher Lee was very good in Attack of the Clones. And I liked Natalie Portman (almost a sentence within itself ;) ;D) in both movies. The highlight for Episode II for me was seeing the interaction between Portman and Christensen.

i have to admit i am ooking forward to seeing ep III after the trailer. it loooks great better than eps I and II, reminded me of the original 3 plus it had that dark feel to it and looked more like the strawars universe we are used to in the originals.
