I agree that there is a caring aspect to the image. A bit of mystery is what all good film posters are about, or any advertising come to that.

Well the Italian poster used the same artwork and that style, from that time was all over those posters, also some Spanish designs. There is a Play misty for me that while not as dark, still has the same kind of colours.
