I watched the first Paddington a few months ago and thought it was great! I've been wanting to check out the sequel sometime.

Unfortunately those movies aren't on Netflix here at this time.

Some just added movies? I haven't watched all of his movies made for Netflix, but I do want to get around to watching Murder Mystery sometime.

I wouldn't recommend Murder Mystery - I thought it was really awful. But, Waterboy is on this month -- don't know if they just added it, but it's a classic. Newer films of his I haven't seen are You Don't Mess with the Zohan, The Cobbler and The Meyerowitz Stories. Don't know if these are made for Netflix. I haven't looked into any of them. I was just scrolling through the selections last night and noticed there was a lot of Sandler stuff on thsi month -- and there's a live stand-up too.

That would be something else to check out. I like watching stand-up comedy.

Creed 2
I gotta be honest, for some reason I wasn’t really expecting too much...
But I thoroughly enjoyed it.. a fitting end to the series..

I enjoyed Creed 2 as well. Do you think it's the end of the Creed series, Gant?

Matt, I noticed The Waterboy on Netflix now too. I rented that one a few months back or so, and enjoyed it. I'd never seen it.

That's a tough one. The very first one is definitely one of my favorites called Prescription Murder. There are some later ones (I mean the ones they did from 1989-2003) that stand out to me because they'd do something different other than the usual format, like one called "No Time to Die," which is about a woman who is kidnapped on her wedding night, and the bulk of the movie is Columbo and some others trying to find her.

I just watched the John Cassavettes episode and liked it a lot...

I think Creed is over but I wouldn't be surprised if Rocky continued...

I got the chance to see this on the big screen earlier today. Not sure if I've seen it in a theater before. Great film. Certainly don't make them like they used to.

5/5.

I was thinking that Cassavetes had been in more than one Columbo, but apparently not.

I like The Maltese Falcon a lot too. I've seen it on the big screen twice. That poster is puzzling me now though. Is that a shot of Bogart from the movie or from an earlier movie of his?

For extra credit (and no peeking), what movie were John Cassavetes and Peter Falk in together?

Husbands... :)
Casavettes directed... I'm not sure if there's any others. I know they were pals and I love their scenes together in the
Columbo episode..

You know, I was thinking the same thing when I posted that yesterday. To me it looks more like Bogart in High Sierra.

There is another one. Hint: A woman directed. They're very good together in it.

Yeah, he looks a lot more menacing in that poster than he is in the movie.
