Well that narrows it down a bit.    ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks, I will have a look at one or two that I suspect may contain the Holiday Inn

Well, but that IS a Holiday Inn ... so there are two of them, then! ;)

I got that pic from the link D'Amb posted a little while back ...

Dirty Harry Filming Locations

Quote

The shooting victim was in the pool on top of the Holiday Inn,
750 Kearny Street, two blocks away.

Next: A library.

There are two library scenes in Eastwood movies that I can recall. I was just lying awake idly wondering who did the cataloging for one of the libraries concerned.

Who can name both of them?

I believe it's The Enforcer.

Harry and Kate go to the library to check out archived newspapers -I can't remember why exactly but I'm guessing it has to do with the People's Revolutionary Strike Force.
If I remember well, tthe woman asks them for a library card, and Harry just flashes his badge  8)

Well, that's not what I was thinking of, and I don't recall that scene in The Enforcer.

Anyone? ???

Could somebody check if there's such a scene in The Enforcer?

Is the prison Library in Alcatraz one of the locations?

You got it, Kid! That's the one where I was wondering, "Who does their cataloging?"

I'll bet it was the Warden, in his spare time. He's such a control freak, he couldn't bear to let any of the prison library books go uncataloged!  :D

Does anyone know the other "library scene"?

We're talking about a very brief scene with no dialogue, in a public library in California.  :)
