Glad everything is back to normal. Thanks Richard! Very strange the board would update itself and make layout and formatting changes automatically.

I didn't see that message, KC.

I'm noticing that apostrophes are not showing up properly on the board, and sometimes this also has happened with quotation notations, like in the name of a title. Do we know what is causing this, and can it be easily fixed? I do not recall having these issues before here on the board.

I believe it is only happening from those who post through the Tapatalk app. I see it mainly with Brian and Gant. Can anyone else verify?

I have never used an ap to post on the board. I occasionally post by logging into the board and then using my phone. Is that what you are referring to?

Has this apostrophe thing happened to you? I'm just seeing it on 2 members' posts.

I get the apostrophe thing in several members' posts and sometimes when I post quotations. I think it's a function of whether the "straight" apostrophe or the "curly" apostrophe is used. "Straight" apostrophes and quotation marks are OK, but the curly ones sometimes get changed to question marks. It can happen when text encoding systems are different. Why it just started showing up here all of a sudden, I don't know.

As for the calendar thing ... Richard tells us he's away this week, but will fix it up next week. :)

Let me try an experiment:

Clint's a great filmmaker.

Clint?s a great filmmaker.

Hmm, looks OK in the preview ... I'll post, and we'll see.  ???

EDIT: That second "Clint's" had a "crooked" apostrophe. It looked fine in the preview, then it changed to a question mark when I posted.
