How about a Pointless Thread for photos, to share random pics that catch the eye?  I surfed on to this one of the recent snowfall in NYC, and thought of KC.  Looks great.

Also, check this out for a cup of coffee. 8)

Great idea, Lilly  O0

I love sunsets. The sky that night was beautiful. It really caught my eye, so I took the picture -out of my bedroom window  ;)

Ditto for this one, only different place

Hey, Lilly ... I think that's me about to pass behind the lion!  :D

The snow was pretty but made a mess of the morning rush hour ... by noon the sun was out, the sky was blue and cloudless, and I sat in front of the Library to eat my lunch! (There's a kind of terrace just to the right of what you can see in the picture, with movable tables and chairs. The snow was cleared off from the main path, and I dumped a disc of the stuff off a table, wiped off the table and a chair, and sat down!)

Very nice sunset pics above.  O0

I enjoy taking natural light pics in dark settings. The first one is from a circus show that passed by here recently, and the second one in a park where they decorated it with Christmas lights.

Cool, Agent. 8)  You could have worked on a Dirty Harry movie!

Does anyone here have a Flickr account?  I just use mine for contacts because I don't have a digital camera yet, but I really like the site, especially being able to subscribe to RSS feeds of particular photo tags.  Guess you could subscribe to the "clinteastwood" tag feed if you wanted to.

Did you see the Eastwood related pics?

Some are pretty cool  8)

That is one I had never seen before. I only knew about the Grauman's Chinese Theatre handprints. Where are they exactly? Somerset? "Leicester Square"? -that's what it says above the picture  ???

 8) Cool pics, I hadn't looked until now.  I didn't know about those hands either.  They must be in Leicester Sq., London.  (I think Somerset is part of the photographer's screenname.)

Trouble with tags is that people aren't consistent in choosing them, so you miss some pics unless you do a full search.  :(  I'm subscribed to the martinsheen tag, but it only shows up a fraction of the pics he's in.

The Eastwood handprints are indeed in Leicester Square.  HERE is a list of all of them.

Here are the best two photo's I've ever taken. These were taken in 1987.A friend of mine had access to a roof on top of a building (no his name isn't Scorpio) near Circular Quay here in Sydney and I took some photo's.

I maybe on this thread a lot after Christmas if Santy Claus got my letter asking for a digital camera, and I have been a veeeeery good boy this year. ::)

Scorpio in Sydney...there's a thought. :o

Great views, tgy.  I hope Santa is kind to ya - having a digital camera makes one so much more likely to take photos, let alone share them. 8)

I can't quite remember exactly, but I think it was around 40-50 storeys high.I think at the time it was the third highest building in the CBD.Behind Sydney Tower and Australia Square.

I recently took some pictures of London for a friend in LA that has never visited.

Here is Eros at dusk.

Great pictures tgy.  I thought they were from Centrepoint Tower but that is further back from the harbour isn't it?  You would get the same area pictures from the Regency Hotel near The Rocks Sydney.

I didn't know Clint's handprints were in Leicester Square.  I will HAVE to see them next time I get to London.

Those Sunsets are cool AB. and I like Eros Philo.  Fancy you getting a pic of KC, Lilly.    Spooky

Agent I love your Circus shot. O0

In fact all the pics are really brilliant.   :)

Well, it wasn't REALLY me, at least I don't think so. But, it could have been ... that is just how it looked when I went out for lunch that day.  ;)

Yeah,that's right.
I found this pic on the web and my shot is from one of the three buildings I marked, but being nearly 20 years later I'm not sure which one. :-[
