Thanks Lilly and CvW!  8)

I had some good ones from a few years ago at the same place but I lost them in a hard drive crash. Where all those ice flows are now it was completely frozen solid so you could walk about 50+ metres out onto the lake. By the way that's Lake Ontario and on a clearer day you can see Toronto and the C.N. Tower and the Skydome (now the Rogers Centre).

I'll head back down in a few more days to see what's changed. Maybe I'll take some in the summer time to compare.

Hey Brendan those pictures are wonderful.   I love the snow scene and the dogs too.   Thanks for posting them.

I took this picture while in Tasmainia on the Gordon Below Franklin River.   I have never seen such smooth water.

Great picture, Lin  8)

The Oscars are comin up, and look what they put in the streets of SF -I thought it was so cool  8)

Two famous lines are missing though (what about Dirty Harry and Unforgiven folks?  :D) -or maybe I haven't been looking at the right places ;)

I bet they're doing the same thing in NY and LA -and other big cities across the country.

I can't wait for Oscar night. It's like Christmas for me  :D :D

Yup, I've seen 'em around here ... "E.T., phone home" on a phone booth is the one that comes to mind. :)

And "I'm walking here!" really belongs to New York! ;)

Took the dogs for a walk again. Same spot:

In the first three photos and the last one I'm actually on top of water. There's no beach underneath any of that.

My photos from before.

Wow Brendan what a difference.  The dogs are enjoying the snow even if no one else is.    Great photos. O0

It was better yesterday. The sun was setting and the sky was orange, yellow and pink. Hopefully we can get some clearer days in the coming weeks and I can take some better photos. I'm looking forward to going there when things are starting to melt during the day and freezing at night.

I'm so mad, I missed a beautiful sunset tonight  :(
I was in the city, and the sun was setting between two buildings. The sky was absolutely stunning. So many colors  :D And I missed it. Didn't have my camera with me. Damn.
