My first post, going back to the old board in old July 2001, was entitled "My First Post, go easy please", what alot of thought I put into that title.

We share thoughts and opinions, and sometimes we even disagree and arguements happen, and sometimes namecalling, but in the end isnt that what family is?
I remember that thread. It did take you a while before you started posting on a regular basis. I became a member in Feb. 2002, and didn't start posting on a regular basis until April (Two whole freakin months :o).

Your family comment above made me laugh. On the board, this is probably more like a family than most of my family is like a family (that's my extended family I'm referring to). ;)

Aw, I suppose we're always have those fond memories from the old board (such as having two college threads closed down :D).

In a few more months we can do Eastwood Film Survivor again... since our membership is constantly changing, the results will have to be different.  But  until then... let's not forget:  JOSEY WALES IS THE SOLE SURVIVOR!!!!
Different results? Great. Do you suppose that will mean Paint Your Wagon will actually last a little longer this time? :D :P ;D

no way where were you, were you here for the sun, it's been a great few weeks, hardly any rain at all.
in dublin chislers is another slang for weee-uns which is generally northern ireland slang.
i think hoovering came from a brand of vacum called "hoover" i'm not sure though, it's widely used through england and ireland,

In Derry (I won't call it Londonderry anymore).  I went out this time to a few pubs in the downtown area; had fun.  This was my second time in Europe, I went to three countries this trip.
I wish we had more clients in Ireland; only Fruit of the Loom right now.

Christopher, Nightwing... listen, if it would make you feel better, I'm sure I could delete the college thread we have on the board now... and maybe a few others.  You know, if it'll help.  ;)

No, I didn't catch either of them.  I dig Ireland, but the sports not-so-much :)
I've never been to the south; just Derry twice.

Hey, I'm doing a University Computer Course which qualifies me for Students Union membership. Does that mean I have to grow my hair, stop washing, smoke pot and stay in bed until at least midday?

I figured if Homer J could go back to college.........

Well actually I cleaned it up before I typed about it. I was just a little peeved about it, since it is milk, and it went all over the floor too. I really didnt want to clean it up, but its not clean it up and have the mother yell at you  :o or clean it up and be safe. I think we all now how moms can get when theres a mess left around... :D

For crying out LOUD, Nightwing, everyone knows it's no use crying over spilled milk!  ;)

Be glad it wasn't orange juice. That stuff is one sticky mother and you never get it all, there's always some that splashed on the floor somewhere right where you're going to step ...  :o

Hey, keep in mind it's just about Mother's Day.

With that in mind, Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms on the board. :)

Hey thank you Christoper! This was unexpected, to see that someone remembered mother's day on the board!!

Have a nice day as well, the ones of you that are not mothers (or fathers) :D

It ain't Mothers Day round here, Misty!  Why do American mothers have their day on a different day?

Or is it us?

I've just noticed on my calendar that Canada, New Zealand and Australia also have Mothers' Day today!

So is it just Britain that's different?  When did that happen?

And, oh yes, I've got smelly wind now...  :-[
