Did anybody by any chance copy the "poutine" thread from the old board?

That was one funny thread. I remember cracking up at that one a few times.

I read the old board thread about Poutine to understand at least a little  ;D
There it says you have to pronounce it a bit french... when I do this, well, it gives a nasty word for the oldest profession in the world... Is that the correct way to pronounce it?? Did the quebecois name this food? Anyway, I wish Bon appetit!  ;)

There are a lot of members here, and only a few posters. Anyone knows why? ???

Congratulations Daisy!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's PDS :)

Seriously, it could be a number of things. Many members may join because they genuinely like Clint Eastwood, are familiar with a handful of his films, and want to comment on those movies when they surface in the forums. Over 40 films makes for quite a substantial body of work, and I suspect only the diehards are going to be able to consistently post knowledgeably across the board.

Others may simply not have the time to do anything more than check in occasionally, and maybe post on something that catches their eye from time to time.

Me, I regret missing the last GBU 15 questions game - I was waiting to see if it was going to reference the restored version (which I hadn't seen) or not, and by the time I caught up with that info, the game was half-over.

What's the etiquette on that anyway? When is too late to join in? Any other hard fast rules I should know about, maybe a thread I should read? A food I should eat  ???

Eustressor, any time you want to join in a 15 Questions game that's already started, just jump in.  We take turns asking questions, so let us know when you're around and we'll put you in the rotation.

As for what food you should eat... well, if you're anywhere near Philly, eat a cheesesteak and a street pretzel for me... cause damn I miss 'em.

Matt, how about a Pittsburgh cheesesteak? I lived in the Pitt briefly circa 1990 and there was a little dive in a little dirt mall a block away from my Northside apartment that would sell you a 10" cheesesteak with extra provolone and onions (mmm...) for like 3 dollars and some change.

I've never been to Philly for the authentic, but damn that was the best cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had.  :)

Sounds good to be, Eustressor.  Next time you're in the Pitt, get me one and Fed Ex it to Florida!  ;D

Matt: Again I ask... WHERE'S BDC WHEN YOU NEED HIM?

We need our CEBC President here to issue out punishments when things get a little out of hand here at the Endless Pointless thread.

I too hope bdc makes it around here once again. It's been a while since we've had a CEBC meeting, and this is certainly a time which calls for it.

Speaking of missing CEBC members, there's also Agent's absence. And isn't he an honorary member here?

Oh well, I guess I'll go drown my sorrows with a Kraft cheese dinner. Thanks, Nightwing. ;)
