Anyone know how long a tea bag can sit out in the mug before it goes "bad" or won't taste as good anymore?

If you're using a tea bag, it will never taste any good. Use loose tea in a French press.
Either way, time generally ranges 3-5 min. BUT  it really depends on the type of tea you're using--- is it white, green, or black tea? Is it even actual tea or is a tisane/herbal? How big are the pieces? Most tea bags contain "dust and fannings", and are kinda like the instant coffee of teas. For that reason, if I were going to drink tea bag tea, I wouldn't keep it in the water for any longer than 3 mins.

What's Fenway Park? I've never heard of it.

You could call me an uncultured hick too.  :P Not that it wouldn't be true, which is even worse!  ;)

It's a Boston slum where a band of unsavory characters lurks, waiting to do bodily harm to any noble and upstanding citizens who pass through ... the crowds in the stands are pretty bad, too.

Why is it called "Swiss"? Because noone can look in, but inside you can see the outside-world? Or because you need a Swiss bank-account to afford that much stainless steel? Or because it's clean?  ;D

Yep, true. Sorry, I hadn't even known. The last I knew was that it was in London. Maybe now I'll travel to Basel to go in that "Don't miss a second". Or, some say it has been called "Loo with a view"

*Ally's ears prick up*

(Whispers) Hey, good lookin'...yes, that is a real fur coat. Care to talk more over a plate of fish and chips? ;D

Actually, I have made tea with a cafetiere. Real tea leaves and a cafetiere! I usually 'fuggedaboudit' though and then by the time I've poured it it's too strong. I normally just leave a tea bag in for a minute or less, I don't like it very strong at all. Longer than that and it's too strong for my delicate sensibilities to bear ;)

Let's hear it for the tea drinkers on the board! Wa-hey!

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Anyone got anything endless and pointless to talk about?

Here's something. I was doing a little early Christmas shopping, and looking for a Green Goblin figure for a Spider-Man fan. This one is used, no box, some paint missing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5911905604

And sold for $91 (shipping was probably an extra $10.)

Crazy.

I could talk about NASCAR.  ;D :P

But here's a question to cure the boredom, how's the weather in Florida?

I'm never bored enough to talk about NASCAR.  :-\

I was at a 4th of July party, pulled out a book of matches with the #8 on it, and everyone jumped on that being a topic of discussion. I had no idea who they were talking about. Still don't. But, I got the score for the Yankees game that I was missing.

The weather in Florida.... well, you wouldn't want to be here now. Without an ark.

That would be Dale Earnhardt Jr., so it's no surprise people jumped all over it.

Because of your eBay link Matt, I've been searching around on it. I've found the Robocop Criterion Edition DVD that's extremely hard to find. Oh how I would love that.

And a golf course: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1607&item=4307169056&rd=1 It's only $1,385,000.00 U.S., not too bad.  ;D

I'd be more interested in the CAR the golf course owner is selling.
