I'm in Boston,Massachusetts USA,but grew up in Ontario,Canada."A Canadian raised Yankee!"
Clint Eastwood is my favorite actor  & "Dirty Harry" is my favorite character.
I also had the privelige of working security on "Mystic River" in Fall 2002 & recently went to Dennis Lehane's DVD signing on June 8 in Boston & the Benefit he was at in Newton,Ma on June 22.
Look forward to hearing from other fans & maybe some others from the Boston area???

Welcome, cattman! So ... you were at that DVD signing in Boston! Vevie posted a note about that in the News section ...

http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=2175;start=45

... but when I checked that link, there wasn't any such event listed on the site. Glad to know it really did happen!

Howdy, I'm Doris from Florida. Became a Clint fan watching Rawhide as a young girl. Especially favor the Westerns as I used to ride and own horses. Ran into this site, thankfully, through a Rawhide link. Looking forward to meeting Eastwood fans through this venue. Make your day  and mine !

Hi all, my name is Michael and I live down under in New Zealand. I am 35 and a Realtor with Rotorua First National Real Estate.
Clint is simply the man.. about 25 years ago I watched "The Good..." for the first time and I never stopped being a fan since. After years and years (it drove my wife nuts) of trying to find out what kind of glasses he wore in "Dirty Harry", destiny led me to this site.. As I posted a few days ago, I finally got my shades!!!(and my wife's sanity is back..lol) As Clint would say, I am going ahead, making my day. Cheers, Michael

Hi I'm Lin and a new member.
I'm from Richmond, North Yorkshire in the UK.
I have been a Clint Eastwood fan since Rawhide. (Does that date me?)
I found the site quite by accident and I'm glad I did.     Of all Clint's movies I love The Bridges of Madison County most, as it shows a different side to him.  Clint hasn't made a movie yet that I don't like, however some are better than others and some I want to see over again.

Hi all, I go by the nickname of umrguy42.  I currently attend the University of Missouri-Rolla as a grad student.

As far as my introduction to Clint, I would have to say probably seeing The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly, and The Outlaw Josey Wales (along with Dirty Harry in there) on video, and somehow, I wound up an Eastwood fan.  (No regrets since!)

I found this site via Google, running across the "Clint's Guns" thread (which I'm finding really useful, except that I'm waiting for Josey Wales info!)...

Welcome, Lin (sorry I missed your post when I welcomed mattyd earlier) and umrguy42! umrguy, our resident guns expert, DAmbrosia, is on one of his periodic leaves of absence. We hope he'll be back soon. Meantime, I'll try to point you to some information about Josey's guns, in that thread.
