Favourite Harry movie?

Im curious to know what everyones favourite Dirty Harry movie is.

Mine is the original, Dirty Harry.

I feel as though we didnt need any sequels, but with Hollywood of course you do.

Now Im not saying the sequels werent good, some were, but we saw who HArry was and what he was all about in the first one. So why did we actually need sequels? And why did we need The Dead Pool? There was no need for it. IT wasnt even a good send off to the Harry character.

Oh well, here goes my order for favourite Harry movies:

1. Dirty Harry
2. Magnum Force
3. Sudden Impact
4. The Enforcer
5. The Dead Pool (which there was no need for!!)

Dirty Harry is ofcourse the best film. Don Siegel directed it marvellous. But the other Harry movies are very enjoyable:

I think about 99.9% of all people are going to pick the original Dirty Harry as their favorite Harry movie.

My favorite sequel is The Enforcer, though Magnum Force isn't too far behind. I've always liked Sudden Impact and The Dead Pool a lot too. Even though The Dead Pool may be the weakest of the Harry movies, it's still very enjoyable. It sorta pokes fun at itself and their is some value in that.

In my opinon, I think Sudden Impact was my least favorite.
Anyway we all know what Harry's remark was about opinions, don''t we? "Opions are like @#!holes, everbody has one."

For a while I actually preferred Magnum Force over DH, but I've switched back to liking the original the last three or four times I've seen them.  The last two are my least favorite, but in defense to The Dead Pool, I don't see why everybody thinks the movie is so weak.  It has its good moments, some good one-liners, and Clint plays Harry with more ease and humor than he does in Sudden Impact, which is all him snarling and cutting one liners.  Sudden Impact should have been a great movie, but the writing is horrible and Sondra's acting skills just aren't cut out to bring her character fully to life.  At least not for me.  Visually, Sudden Impact is more interesting, but that's all.   I'll watch them both in a year or so and maybe I'll change my mind again.

dirty harry is my favourite  movie where clint plays callahan,i think siegel did a wonderful job. also newman,sinatra refusing to do this movie before clint was abig favour in disguise.

"Dirty Harry" is a film of class.

"Magnum Force" and "The Enforcer" are pretty good too.

However "Sudden Impact" dragged, there was wayyy too much Sondra Locke in it for me. and that stupid dog??? need I say more. Great ending though (walking towards the bad guys with the light at his back and holding the automag. wow!)

"The Dead Pool", where do I begin? The remote control car for starters!!!

The quality of the Harry films deterioated as the series went on with Dirty Harry the very best and The Dead Pool deservedly at the bottom .
Sudden impact was fun but for me the real Harry films are the first three which are all excellent to varying degrees .

You know what, the enforcer for me, is almost as good as Dirty Harry.I can explain why- the enforcer was the second clint movie I bought (the first one beeing the rookie ) and since it was a lot better than the rookie, for about a month, I watched the enforcer every day  (No kidding)I know the whole dialogue from beginning to end, and I feel it kinda has a special place in my collection, because I liked it so much when I first got it. Now dirty Harry is the first eastwood movie Ive seen , so it also has a special place,and yes, the storyline is much better than the enforcer, therefore it's my number one.

Dirty Harry is the original so it's the best but the others are meritable and yes the dead pool except for the lame ending was as good as any other Harry Movie...it has /had all the goods and the dry humour and upto date goodies well as up to date as was at the time....radio car bombs...very cool.....and did u know it launched Jim Carry's movie career kinda because Clint heard about how well Jim did him that he asked to have him in the movie.......very cool.....homage is cool..
