Good Afternoon,

My name is Spencer Walker and I am the President & Executive Director of the Warfighter Foundation. The Warfighter Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non profit that provides physical, emotional, and mental rehabilitation to combat veterans and their families (www.warfighterfoundation.org) in Houston, TX.

We are currently planning a pre-release private screening of the upcoming film American Sniper that we will host in Houston, TX. The screening will include family, friends, and teammates of US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle (portrayed in film by actor Bradely Cooper) and will be 100% free for veterans and their families. It is our hope that we can reach Mr. Clint Eastwood and extend and invitation to him as well as any other significant cast/crew.

We hope that the members of this forum will be able to assist us and encourage you to reach out to us or donate.

I've moved this post here to the News Forum, where we usually post information about Clint's upcoming films including American Sniper (here). I thought this announcement was important enough to stand in a thread by itself. Good luck to Mr. Walker and his foundation; it sounds like a very worthy cause.

I hope Mr. Walker was successful with the screening. Since the film has now been released, I'm going to un-sticky this topic.
