Did you notice how in this clip they happen to zoom on Clint right when Julia Roberts says "And the Oscar goes to ..." Strange coincidence  ^-^

Looks like Clint and Dina are taking some down time. Very short video clip up at Splash News in the Video Section.  It was taken at a distance though so not a real clear video.  (Clip will be on the third row down but the clips rotate quickly so it won't be there for long.  Click on the "guest" archive.)

It isn't unusual for the cameras at awards ceremonys to rehease the where abouts of at least the nominees.

Hi folks,
I´m new here and I´m a big fan of the old so called tough guys like Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Steve McQueen or Lee Marvin etc....
Recently, I visited the website www.youtube.com and I discovered a video in which Clint Eastwood got a "Lifetime Achievement Award. That was in 1986 when his movie "Heartbreak Ridge" just came out.
During this video (it takes 4 Minutes) his daughter Allison and his son Kyle were introducing their father. Clint came up from backstage and shook hands with some people in the audience.
One of them was Charles Bronson. Clint discovered Charlie, greets him with the words "How you´re doing?" and Bronson responded "Congratulations". That was so great to see these two tough guys shaking hands with each other...
Take a look and watch the video:
www.youtube.com    - All Star Tribute for Clint Eastwood.
There are two videos about the event. One video is about Sammy Davis Jr. saying kind remarks about Clint. The other video is about the event which I just told you.......

Thanks, Mr. Pacino, and welcome to the Eastwood Web Board! 8)

The specific YouTube links are:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHGxr7V4AOA

This tribute has come up a few times in discussions here ... it is the only time, as far as I know, that Clint Eastwood's sister Jeanne appeared with him in public. She is sitting at Clint's table with Clint's kids from his first marriage, Sondra Locke, and Clint's mother. I think the gentleman with her must be her husband.

I think that I might have viewed that when it aired. I had thought that I saw a salute to Clint on his birthday many years ago in the mid 80's but this might have been it.

Sorry I should have watched the videos first before I posted.  Not only Charles Bronson but I love the way Sammy Davis sang Misty. Another good movie "Play Misty For Me" !!

Thx again..

Also a question for anyone. At the end of the second video where Sammy sang, he introduced Jimmy Stewart. Does anyone know if that part of that tribute to Clint is on you tube anywhere? I would have loved to have heard it. Thanks.
