I was hoping I wasn't wrong...

and an alternate main title!...can't wait.
However...where's Roberta Flack's "This Side of Forever?"

Good question  :(

That's like the one song I was really looking forward to on this release. I remember looking for it everywhere a couple of years ago -Matt ended up sending it to me via email.

To quote Madeline Kahn in City Heat, "Well, it's about time!"

The photo for Sudden Impact is the same one used for The Enforcer.  Look at the shade from the badge on his face in The Enforcer, it's there in Sudden Impact.

Yeah, you can see the shadow of his hand on his face for Sudden Impact.

They'll use a photo from Sudden Impact for the cover of The Dead Pool soundtrack   :D

;D I hope not!  I liked The Dead Pool poster best.

I think it seemed cool because of the different magnum used on the cover, opposite
of Clint's face.  Now, that the Sudden Impact OST is being released, I wonder when The Dead Pool
joins the party.

I remember posting an article saying Lalo Schifrin doesn't know if it will be released because the Musician Union would
require a re-use fee.  He doesn't if they have the budget.  I would be the first ever release of that score. >:( :(

Hi guys,
OK, some good news and bad news...
Firstly the bad news and to answer Glenny's original question, Roberta Flack's vocal track  This side of forever  sadly did not make the list due to legal reasons.

So you need some cheering up right? The Good News.
Well I can confirm here now that The Dead Pool is presently in the works and should be Aleph's next full CD release, so hopefully not too long to wait  ;)

I can hear you cheering now  :)

mary mary, would I be out of line if I said I love you?  ;D
That's the best news I've heard since...ever.

But, that sucks about This Side of Forever...

It belongs on the OST.  I've never been so crazy about the song...but, I looked
forward to seeing it in the release. Just knowing it was there would have made me happy.

So...how long does this soundtrack process take usually?

I"ve always liked that bullet hole  :D

Ha! good catch  :)

I second that. Too bad.

Just to clarify, and I know everyone was losing sleep over this one, the bullet hole we see on the cover of Sudden Impact is NOT the same one you see on the inside of Dirty Harry, Magnum Force and The Enforcer....  8)

....heh heh, I couldn't resist  ;)

;D Thanks for clarifying that, Brian.  That one kept me awake for weeks. :D
-----------------------------------------------------
I don't mind San Francisco After Dark.  I think it goes with the mood of the movie.
Especially the final scene.  I always thought that it was the original end credits music.
It just wasn't used in the movie.

mary mary...
something tells me you have already listened to it...
am I correct?

If so, I have a few questions...
1. Is the alternate main title noticeably different then the one we know? &
2. Is there any un-used tracks like the Magnum Force OST had?

Got my copy of this at the weekend.

Its all I expected and more.  Some great tracks.  I don`t really miss Roberta Flacks end title song to be honest.

The main title alternative is slightly different, still the same tune, but without the sirens and radio voices.

There are no un-used tracks, but rather extended versions.

Great to nearly have a complete set.

Just holding out for The Dead Pool score.

Any ideas when it will be released??

God! I hope real soon.
Word on the street is it's just "around the corner."

Maybe during the summer?
Can mary mary confirm the real date?
