 Dirty Harry last night for the first time all the way through.  More than lived up to all the hype I'd heard and read about it.  Favorite part had to be Callahan on the tressle at the end waiting for Scorpio to drive under.  Supremely cool scene. 8)

I love that scene as well. I wonder if that shot of Clint has ever been made into a poster.

I just realised it`s been way too long time when I watched an Eastwood`s film but if I´m not mistaken it was Kelly`s Heroes...not sure though.

But what`s great is that my girlfriend`s 9 tear old son watched not too long ago Where Eagles Dare with my mother(!!!) and thought it was pretty cool (ofcourse not as cool as Star Wars or Spiderman films  ;D ) and is now asking me if we could watch GBU or just about any film from Eastwood together.

Any suggestions what that film could be???I´m thinking of Eastwood`s Beddoe-films.

Depending on how mature the kid is, one of the Leone films might be a good choice. :)

Just watched The Dead Pool for the first time in years (on Blu-ray) and found it to be far more enjoyable than I expected. Sure, it's not a patch on the earlier Harry films and the flick missfires a few times...but overall still very watchable. A very nice presentation on Blu-ray aswell - whilst far from reference quality, the image is clean and nicely detailed, with vibrant colours and little noise or grain.

And Blondie won  ;D I watched today GBU with the little guy and it worked great for him even though some scenes were a bit too slow for his taste  :)

Already he`s been asking when we can watch some other Eastwood film...or another western  8) My brainwashing scheme is working  ;D
