Yeah, I'm with Aline. Those shirts are hideous. His apartment decor is also quite an eye sore as well, but I think Matt likes these shirts because of the nostalgia factor. It reminds him of the 70's, a time which he remembers fondly, and I can understand that.

my favorite Eastwood-Siegel film "Escape from Alcatraz".

It is still for me one of his best acting performances.

Watched joe Kidd last night.

I actually enjoyed it much more this time around. I mean I've always liked it but to me it's Clints weakest western but I still enjoy seeing it. Some people would say two mules is his weakest western. But I actually like two miles for sister Sara a little better than joe Kidd. The reason being I find two mules to be humorous and it was something a little different from all the rest of his westerns. Joe Kidd has some great scenes. But the overall movie to me isn't as good as two mules for sister Sara. But those two are the bottom two for sure. Anyways I enjoyed joe Kidd and those great scenes.

Yeah a lot of people like joe kidd better than two mules.  And a lot of people even rank it in there top five eastwood westerns.  I just like the different pace that two mules brings.  Something different than your ordinary western.  I do like Joe Kidd too.  I feel like its got some really great scenes.  I just feel like overall these two are his weakest westernns.  Yet I still enjoy both of them.

Guess this is the area to post that I watched Gran Torino again for about the 6th time (we need another section for non-Dirty Harry and non-Western movies).

Love this film, maybe my favourite Eastwood film closely followed by Dirty Harry and Unforgiven.

I enjoy his movies mostly, only The Beguiled and Coogan's Bluff are unwatchable to me, I loathe them.  :(
