When the Japanese team practiced in training camp ground of George, they were baptized by Vuvuzela of 3500 throng local fans and seem to have been embarrassed by the strong sound!!   :o    Did not think of... but this musical instrument could be the greatest enemy !   :o  ;D

I had bought this T-shirt for my grandson last February in London because I just loved it design, the red and white are simple and nice.  I thought it to be very cute to my grandson !  :D  And since, I had forgotten that ...........!  I was not able to remember that to see Twomules photograph of England's flags either, until recently !  :-[  ( Because the football does not interest me!)
Now, unfortunately I think that I should not have bought it....... ??   :-\
I hope that he will not be afraid of wearing it here !!  Thus I prefer and it is better that England wins for this World Cup!  ::)
Naturally I am going to support Japan but at all events I cannot expect the Japanese victory ....!   :(

It's gone very quiet in England I think. You can almost hear a pin drop.

You are right, SK :(

I did't see the game but it looks like England's World Cup campaign got off to a disappointing start after a howler from goalkeeper Robert Green gifted the USA a 1-1 draw. :(

I was in California for the England/USA game and was very pleased to see how much interest there was in the tournament over there... Had some interesting bar discussions... :)

First big upset has happened: Switzerland beat Spain 1 to 0.

Very surprising, was not expecting that at all.

Also somewhat of a shock: Brazil 2 to 1 over North Korea. Didn't expect NK to play that well against Brazil. I never had a doubt that Brazil would score, but hadn't expected it to take so long. And I don't think Brazil was expecting NK to attack and score on them in the end.

You're right...it was so lame. I had the impression if the game had lasted a little longer, Korea would have drawn it.

The Newspapers have been slaughtering England and rightly so :(

The sound of the World Cup vuvuzelas was replaced by jeers as the Three Lions trooped off the pitch following a dismal 0-0 draw with Algeria >:(

How can Wayne Rooney criticize those fans who were booing, I feel sorry for all those thousands of Brits who paid thousands of pounds to come and watch a game of pure garbage :(

Yeah... it was a dire performance. Probably the worst I've ever seen from an England team..

Why is it that.. when  we have probably one of the best leagues in the world, some of the best players....
but as a team they do not perform.... I coulda  f*****' played better than half of them yesterday.. >:( >:(
The Americans play with so much passion.. wheres ours.. ???

Still... at least the Germans got stuffed... (no offence to any German members)  ;)
