LCat, if you would like to post your own photos of your art here, you can ask any of the mods for help, or e-mail us the photos and we'll put them up on ImageShack for you.

Thanks, Lin,  and KC.

I hope this gallery talk will lead to more fame. I'd like to be self-supported by my artwork in my lifetime. ! Is that too much to ask?

On the 5th of December, I'll be in Paris for 3 totally different but great exhibitions, especially the first one to me : in the morning, in Le grand Palais, the famous American painter Edward Hopper retrospective.

In the afternoon, in Les Arts Décoratifs museum :

Van Cleef and Arpels, the Art of Luxury Jewellery

And in the same place :

Star Wars Toys

A very eclectic tour ! But very interesting one :)
But sure I will take the train back home, late at night,  eyes, mind and soul full of beautiful things  : "food for Happiness", no doubt !

Yes, a beautiful day ! :)

And I've just heard on the radio that there is a fabulous exhibition in Le Louvre Museum, paintings, drawings of Raphaël ... but the day will be too short ... so many great things to see when you are in Paris ! Just like in a lot of big cities in fact ...
Retrospectives are often very interesting because you can admire many pieces of Art that belong to private collectionners, sometimes showed only a few times ... I can remember how great it was to see some very rare Monet paintings in Paris 2 years ago, and fantastic drawings by Keith Haring in Lyon 4 years ago  :).

I just received a nice postcard from Lin on her trip in Ireland. She posted it 10 days ago so she is probably on her way home by now but it seems like she's had a great time. 8)

It's bizarre how things happen sometimes. Yesterday I was in a store and was looking through their book department and I thought to myself that I've never seen any C J Box books in this store or any of their other stores around town. If I did and they were $10 or less, I would get them. As I would like to read the books again sometime.

Today I went into the store but one in a different suburb and was looking at the books and came across eight C J Box books for $10 each! I rang my friend and said if she sees any of the ones I couldn't get to grab them for me. She rings back to say she is in her local store right then and grabbed one of the ones I couldn't get.

9 of the 12 books in one hit. That made my day. 8)

My British friend invited me to lunch at the "Oxford and Cambridge Club" (he is of Oxford).
I thought so far called the circles of British club was limited to British gentleman!  ;)
Near St. James Palace in Pall Mall, the Club was in the big old buildings and majestic. The building was decorated with many historical paintings, furniture, decorative items, etc. ... very interesting, like a museum!   My friend gave me a tour of the Club. There were several beautiful rooms and bars that club members are free to use and has a beautiful and big library and read in a quiet room.
The dinning room was like a gastronomic restaurant and was very rich variety of menu!
The service was also very good!  I had a very nice experience.  8)
It was only a pity that the interior of the Club is forbidden to photograph!

I made it to Trader Joe's (the supermarket) even though I feel like death warmed over! My freezer and fridge now have food in them! (I just don't have the energy to take the defective beach chair back to the variety store, however!)

We received a lovely pair of gifts and a card today from Lin to celebrate the arrival of baby Isabelle and Laura becoming a big sister.

Thank you Lin so much, we were very surprised and delighted by your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Here's Laura clearly well pleased with her new pony!
