Wonderful. Many thanks for posting all those daybills. I always wondered how some of them would look
like. The little differences to the US inserts, like LE MANS.. I love sci-fi, please send over those Harryhausen,
THEM! etc.

Just kidding.
I collect since 1979. Unfortunately (or the other way around) I'm interested in almost everything.
Genres, certain directors & actors.. I use the archive for projects too, DVD booklets and galleries,
CINEMA RETRO or my own books (so far on Sam Peckinpah and Steve McQueen - release date 11/2011).

While most German colectors concentrate on German material, I like stuff from all over the world as well.
Especially Italy, USA, UK & France. Yet I have to admit that our German material is really special. Buying
an American lobby card set for instance is not a big deal, almost all US / UK sets have just 8 cards.
But vintage German sets are never sold in their entirety. Those glossy handtinted set sometimes
incudes up to 50 cards. Takes you forever to find them all. (and s ums up naturally) I just found the last
missing WED lc weeks ago. It's a set of 43 cards (I'll post it in the COLLECTING thread)

This year I was asked to do a little exhibition, here are some reference stills I took of some German goodies:

That is a movie I have never been able to watch, along with Ring of Bright Water. I just can't cope with animals being hurt, killed or lost. Don't mind the body count in the Dirty Harry or Western movies though.  ;)

Great collections SC and Mike siegel.  :)

SC, Great artwork on My Fair Lady.  You have a handsome collection my friend.

Mike, LOVE your Sophia Loren poster and the Liz Taylor poster.  Amazing artwork in them.  Is there a great deal of money in those ones?

If not too expensive, I may be tempted to find and buy them.  They are two posters I would not get tired of looking at >:D

Gilda was in a terrible state when I got her. A home fix it job was done with a lot of tape and coloured bits of paper stuck to her.

So I sent it off to Dario Casadei in Vancouver Canada to get a full restoration done.

Before

Tape removal.

Washed and on linen.

Finished

He is an artist, wouldn't you say? ;)

A top guy too, sending me pics during the process, not many restorers do that.

Up close, you'd struggle to see what he's done. He explained the process to me... :o WOW, you would have to be a perfectionist.

ATTENTION ELVIS FANS! I know I'm not the only one out there!  ;)
I recently came into a nice sized Elvis Presley collection but have no desire to keep because I already have 99% of what's included. There's too much to list here but I can tell you there is an abundance of FTD CDs (Follow That Dream label), including a handful of their book/cd combos. If you're interested and know what you want, please send me your want list via personal message and make me a reasonable offer. Brand new these titles all go for $30 not including s&h (the combos go for up to 2x-3x more than that); I'm not asking for that much, just giving you an idea of what these go for brand new. The condition on these all range from good to very good. I also have BMG(RCA) cd sets such Prince From Another Planet, Elvis At Stax, Young Man With The Big Beat, That's The Way It Is and a of others including all of the 2 disc Legacy series. Finally, I have books and magazines all in very good condition. All of this stuff is perfect for fans and collectors. Any and all interested please send me a personal message and we'll go from there. Thank you, thankyouverymuch.

I use to love Kevin Costner so I have 7 or 8 of his movies, and plenty of CDs by some of my favourite older artists like The Rolling Stones  :)
