$105,000,000 up for grabs over the next few days with different lotto draws.

$30,000,000 tonight, $40,000,000 on tuesday and $35,000,000 on thursday.

I'm way overdue in cracking a big win. I mean $10 now and again just don't cut it!! :D

It's sumo koala's on the highway!!   :D

Alright, so this isn't Australia, but when I saw it, I thought of your koalas, so posting here. This video is too long to watch (ignore the click-baity "must watch till end"), but you can skip through it a bit.

I'm posting this here since Razorback is an Australian horror film from 1984. Has anyone seen it? It was a good monster movie about a giant razorback killing people in this little area in Australia. There's also a few monsters of the human kind featured in the film too. Grisly and suspenseful, and I was never sure where the movie was going.

I remember seeing it back when released at the cinema. I must have been 14 or 15 and a friend wanted to see it. Scared the hell out of me. Can't remember much about it now but I'm still not a fan of horror movies. :)

Captain Cook's HMS Endeavour may have been found in US

US and Australian archaeologists hunting for Captain Cook's HMS Endeavour may have finally discovered its location on the east coast of America.
The search in Newport Harbour, Rhode Island, has pinpointed one or two potential archaeological sites and excavation is expected to begin next year.

Your Fake Australian Accent Is Terrible, Mate

Quote
Americans and the British love to mock how we talk. But they can’t imitate it.

By Julia Baird
Contributing Opinion Writer

SYDNEY, Australia — Running out of gas is one of the most foolish things you can do, but I was guilty of it several times when I was a lean-living university student. That changed, though, when Hugh Jackman was hired as the attendant at my local gas station. He was older than me, clean-cut and hot, an improbably nice star of local high school musicals who was known to date unassuming women. I tried not to stumble over my feet — or, say, into his arms — as he greeted me with a big grin when my Volkswagen Beetle sputtered in: “Jules!”

That year, I never ran out of gas.

Today, Mr. Jackman, the star of films like “Wolverine” and “Les Misérables,” is widely adored in Australia, even by those who never saw him behind a cash register. He holds a special place in Australian hearts because international success has not made him pretentious. Most crucially, his accent is still intact.

Disappointing -- it doesn't answer the question "Could I live in Australia"?  Well, with a score of 18/35 (and by far the worst result I can remember ever scoring on a social media test) I guess the answer is no.  (But I did get the Sandwich Spread question right!)

20 days until The Mule is released down here.

I'm surprised I've made it this long without coming across anything on the web about it. Of course as soon as I see a pic of Clint or anything Eastwood related, I scroll past.

I've avoided all the posts here on the board in the news forum about the film too since it's release. That's tough to do.

It's like a mozzie itch! :D

Oh, those mozzies! I understand they're so big down there you could throw one on the barbie and make a meal of it! With some vegemite, of course.

Yep, they’ve been known to carry young children away in their beaks!! ;)

Yes, mosquitoes with beaks. It’s a hell of a sight. :D
