I like that she seemed to stop to check out the person watching them!

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-10-23/koala-takes-a-stroll-with-joey-at-mclaren-flat/7958056

This is a lot better than a snake down George St.  8)

So ... a koala and her joey, and a goat and her kid, walk into a bar in McLaren Flat. Bartender says to the koala, "What'll it be for you and Joey?" Then he turns to the goat and says, "You'll have to take him home. We don't serve kids."

We have this thing in Australia called Free View TV. I think it's been around a couple of years or even longer. You need an internet connection to a newer tv and you can catch up on shows you miss. No need for recording just choose the channel you want and go back on the schedule onscreen and choose what you want to watch.

I used it for the first time last week and found Bruce Springsteen on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert from back in September. It was even better because all the adverts had been removed. Noy sure if thats the same for all shows though.

YES! And they show the picture of a SUV in a lake where one of those demon spawn came out of the air vents and the driver lost control of the vehicle.

I probably told this before but I nearly ran off the road when one ran across my windscreen one day. Obviously I thought it was inside the car at first so I was swerving all over the place. Thankfully it was outside and it crawled in behind the drivers side mirror. When I got home, I climbed over to the passenger side and got out that door. Grabbed a can of bug spray and sprayed the mirror with about half the can. It finally staggered out and fell onto the driveway, where it was stomped on several times. Just to make sure.

And yet... you still go camping.  ???

We had some horrible critters in South Florida when I lived there -- I once found a scorpion in the house, and a pygmy rattlesnake in the garage. A huge black garter snake in a closet. Their place is outdoors -- we belong indoors.

Only once and I won't be upset if we never go again.  :)

My mother used to say that ... "I'm not afraid of spiders, I just don't like them!" ;D

Well, shoot. That does it. I just found out huntsman spiders eat cockroaches! I officially love them now.

But can you find a photo of a baby huntsman (huntsbaby) wrapped up in a blanket? That might win me over.  ;)

http://www.nant.com.au/product/port-cask-43/

I tried this whiskey down in Tasmania last month and was a fan straight away. 43% alcohol.   :o

The 63% was way too strong, even when I watered it down.

I got a bottle as a gift for my birthday. Not the 500ml but the 200ml bottle.  :coolsmiley:

According to the price listed there... someone loves you a LOT (even if it's half that size/price).

I'm not a fan of whisky, but I'd want to try that.
