If I could ask one question, it would be premised.

"Clint, the man with no name type of character that catapulted your career and in many cases was used as a point of reference for your other characters, such as Dirty Harry (dark/silent) Josey Wales...is one of the most original creations ever. What was your original motivation in creating him? Someone you knew?

If I could get the chance to ask him another question it would be, "is the good, the bad and the ugly a sequel or a prequel?" He should know right? RIGHT?!

What would it be?

Mine would probably be : If and when you decide to hang up your hat as actor/director, would you consider touring the world as a jazz ensemble? I'd love to see the Clint Eastwood Sextet on stage with the ol' crooner churning out classic blues/jazz!

....I would ask Clint what the 'keys' to a successful and happy life are --about some of his own personal, accrued, 'pearls of wisdom' for living successfully and more fully, in what is often, a confusing and chaotic world --presuming that he has some...I've often thought that good life mentoring could/can be pivotal in a person's life... Yes, we've heard the one about not taking yourself too seriously, but what other gems does he hang on to ??

P.S.  Could you imagine watching Dirty Harry with Andy Robinson ??   :D 8)

Yeah, or taking a ride in a school bus with him, being forced to sing, "Row, Row, Row you boat..."  ;D

But the one question I'd ask Clint is: "Clint, what did you end up doing with that $300-$400k that was handed you in an envelope after making Fistful?"  ;)

Yes, they have.  ;D  Actually, it's part of a "Dirty Harry Road Trip" that was filmed late last year for the Travel Channel (mentioned in the "California or Bust" thread). Looks like it was quite a blast.

I wonder how often he (Robinson) goes on the DH Road Trip....Now that would be a TRIP --both literally and figuratively.     8)

I think it would be sweet to sit down with Andy to discuss and watch 'Dirty Harry'. Or even better, sitting down with Clint and Andy to watch and discuss 'Dirty Harry'.... oh man, that would be hella cool.
