And I notice I'm finally over 2 posts a day on average. Before I left, it was probably over 20. I don't think I'll ever get it up that high again, but I do plan on overtaking KC on post count someday. Especially at this rate.

I saw Christopher checking out the stats again, so I looked to see what was so interesting...

That's HUGE. Along with all those guests, I wonder how many are bots. Can the mods tell us when we see 50 guests approx how many of them are bots?

No, but my guess is that at least 49 are bots. The page views, probably no more than a few dozen a day come from real people who are interested. I'm just guessing on the basis of the number of active members we have here lately.

Maybe Richard knows something more about this?

  I recall that you can set the views for SMF forums to either everything or actual users.  This was SMF 2.0 beta that I was working with. 

  Yea I would guess its bots, including Hal 9000, that account for that many views.

Wow, I don't know that I've ever gotten that message. But I don't know if I've 20 messages in an hour. Maybe years ago that might have been a possibility...

So apparently I hit my stride here at midnight. And I only sleep three hours a day (4am-7am).

Actually, I bet now that I'm on a computer all day, my stats will start to spread out even more.  I never really noticed this part of the stats before. Pretty cool.

Haha Yes, there are just times when I'm not really on the board much at all!

I like the personal stats like this as well. I've wondered before how closely it keeps up with our post counts though. Like it seems like I've posted on the board and the time slot on my personal stats aren't updated all the time. Unlike the main board stats when you can post and then see the number of posts change immediately.

It's quality, not quantity. And god knows our last 20 posts weren't too high-quality.
